MALLOWNOSE
female ,, fifteen moons ,, warrior ,, ivyclan ,, heterosexual
APPEARANCE-mallownose is a short, chubby she-cat with quite short legs. however, the rest of her body is well-proportioned. she isn’t very muscular, which hinders her fighting ability. the majority of mallownose’s pelt is a creamy off-white, but she has very dark brown- almost black- patches on her tail, legs, face, and ears. her eyes are a soft blue and her pawpads and nose are all black.PERSONALITY:-mallownose is a kind and caring she-cat and tends to act very motherly towards her clanmates. she is soft-spoken and generally calm most of the time and takes great joy in resolving the problems of others around her. mallownose likes to spend most of her time with the kits and elders of the clan, assisting them as she wants to be as helpful as possible within the clan. however, mallownose gets offended easily and isn’t hard to upset, she is sensitive and even the slightest of insults could leave her near tears. furthermore, her motherly trait causes her to be rather overprotective of her clan mates and she often worries about little, insignificant things, this can end up resulting in quite a bit of stress for her which she doesn’t deal with well. when stressed, mallownose is snappy and can be rather stubborn, yet she always feels extreme guilt about this later on. also, mallownose’s kindness often makes dealing with enemies difficult to her as she often feels too much sympathy towards them and can be easily guilt-tripped or manipulated into giving away important information.ABILITIES:-mallownose was named for her tracking ability- she can easily pick up scents, making her a good lone hunter and companion in group hunting, specifically when hunting small prey such as mice. however, she lacks ability in battle as she can be easily tricked by her component and lacks the strength to fight other cats due to her lack of muscle. another reason for her lack of battle ability once again links to her personality as she tends to feel bad about hurting younger cats (however, she doesn’t feel this way about grown warriors as she knows that the vast majority of them can defend themselves). she isn’t the best swimmer either, simply because she struggles to keep her head above the water, however, she believes she makes up for this in her ability to dig, a strange skill to have, yet one that can be useful when creating traps, dens, or hunting underground prey. her climbing ability is average for an ivyclan warrior.HISTORY:-mallowkit was born into ivyclan along with her younger brother, thornkit, a strong tom with a love for adventure. the two of them were very close siblings and grew up the best of friends. however, thornkit was always a boisterous and energetic kit, often causing himself injury, and every time this happened mallowkit would worry greatly about him, usually to the point where she annoyed him. this would always result in thornkit snapping at her and mallowkit in tears, but they always got over it and were back to being best friends the next day.mallowkit and thornkit were apprenticed together thankfully, earning the names of mallowpaw and thornpaw. even as apprentices, the two were extremely close and often begged their mentors to let them train together. mallowpaw loved training alongside her brother more than anything, even though he liked to brag that he was faster and stronger than her. however, the only thing she hated was battle training- not because she was bad at it, but because she was so scared that she would accidentally hurt thornpaw in some way. but one thing her mentor did notice in her was her ability to track and hunt prey very quickly with great precision, often praising her for the skill that she would eventually be named after.during her apprenticehood, when mallowpaw wasn’t training or with her brother, she spent a lot of her time in the elder’s den or back in the nursery where she had lived with her mother, prior. in this time, she would help by bringing prey and fresh moss to the cats living there and enjoyed playing with the kits and listening to the elders’ stories about their youths.eventually, mallowpaw was given her warrior name, mallownose for her tracking ability, also alongside thornpaw who was named thorn- for his adventurous spirit. the relationship between the two hasn’t changed since kithood and they’re still best friends, although sometimes warrior duties means that they don’t spend as much time together as they could when they were kits. mallownose still enjoys visiting the elders and kits and is still the helpful young cat she was as an apprentice.
