A white she-cat was staring through the cracks of the ruin, white thick clouds plastered across the sky, at least what she could see of it with the thick canopy's over head. Her head lay ever so delicately on a moss bed, her tail flicking impatiently. She was told to focus from First Speaker. it would end soon. The snow began to fall down in large flakes. Her eyes blurring. The she-cat let out a yowl, focusing on the snow flakes coming down. She remembers it being very cold. Her body just wasn't made for this. Her frail bones, and graying around her muzzle showed her age. It wasn't long until a small body was nestled into her belly. Next to her however, were three stillborn. The she-cat frowned and looked up. Her poor kits...if only she hadn't waited so long to become a mother....
She looked at the one kit who was alive, and thanked her ancestors for protecting her. First Speaker came to check on her and she looked up at the tom. "I have named her...Snow that Falls from Sky." She gave the kit a small lick before pulling her in close. She held a vigil for her other kits and let them be taken away. It was too cold, and too many hungry animals around for her to properly mourn them, but she had this small blessing to take care of, and for that she thanked her ancestors.
It was the day of Snows To-Be ceremony, but something just wasn't right. The older she-cat had labored breathing, her eyes glossy, her body tired. She looked at her kit and smiled. "Your To-Be Ceremony is today, are you excited?" She looked at Snow with Tired eyes, but managed to smile. She watched as Snow groomed her pelt, ready to impress First Speaker. She was chosen to be a prey hunter and she would take that very seriously. "Go...go outside I'm just going to take a nap." Her daughter took off, and the queen fell asleep. She was just so tired...she opened one eye to see First Speaker peaking her mentor, a small tear trickled from the fail cat's eyes, her daughter had made her proud.
"Mama did you see did you see? Bat that flies in Cave is my mentor he's going to be so proud of me! I'm going to work so hard! I want to be just like you the best hunter!.....mama...mom.....mom are you...FIRST SPEAKER!!!!!!!!! THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG!" Those were the last words that Dawn remembered hearing before drifting off into an eternal slumber...remembering her daughter become a To-Be. She held on just for that.

Snow stood on top of a tall rock overlooking the roaring waters. Her eyes closed for just a moment as she reflected on her past, this was who she was now. Was her mother proud of her? She took off from the rock, head and tail held high. Her mother had been old when she was born, already clinging to life. Yet she waited until she became a To-Be to join the tribe of endless hunting. Snow couldn't help but let out a sigh, a good one however. Her mother had been so stubborn. Ears perked as a sound caught her attention,
Snow dropped into a crouch and took off, her long legs carrying her elegantly through the forest. She soon has a large rabbit dangling from her jaws. She wanted to be just like her mother, and she wouldn't stop until she was one of the best. Just like her mom...just like Dawn.
