Bellfeather is a lovely she-cat with a warm, inviting air about her that is highly influenced by her angular, yet soft facial features. She has a long, feathered plume of a tail whose delicate hairs often betray how thick it really is by how easily it flutters from movement. And with a narrow build, her thin legs make her just as swift as the waters of the rushing, nimble river. Bellfeather's namesake comes from the rich, vivid blue of her pelt which is graced by a soft, powdery silver hue and the darker tones of blue of her nose and paw pads. However, what truly attracts attention to her are the dazzling colors of her bright turquoise eyes, the blue and green hues matching that of the warm waters of the sunlit river. She also sports long silver whisker that frame her face nicely and a small tendril of the long fur along the left side of her face has been worked into a messy dreadlock with the help of a bit of bindweed. Personality [Core Personality Traits] Silly | Easy-breezy | Wise | Playful | Emotional | Relaxed | Strong-willed | Loving A fair bit of a goofball, Bellfeather is a silly cat who often isn't taken seriously by those who don't really know her and usually is seen by strangers as someone who was mistakenly made a warrior. It's often hard for most to believe that she was a student of the fabled Mothstar back during his warrior days as she seems to be such his polar opposite, and despite the legacy she has sitting upon her shoulders, Bellfeather doesn't change her demeanor at all. She enjoy having fun, even if it paints her as a fool sometimes- though it is something she definitely is not. She is a lighthearted and easy-going warrior among the bunch of ruffians, but that doesn't mean she isn't wise from her years. Bellfeather is pretty easy-breezy when it comes to most things as she takes the path less traveled by, instead choosing to make her own choices and come to her own conclusions instead of taking everyone elses' words as gospel. She's one to play Devil's Advocate simply to make her clanmates look at things from a different perspective and doesn't take things to heart easily. It's quite hard to get the she-cat worked up if she doesn't already feel strongly about the topic and because of such, she is a very level-headed warrior. Despite being seasoned beyond many of the younger warriors on all fronts, playful and happy-go-lucky, Bellfeather is a definitely a fun cat to be around and her positive energy can be rather infectious. She believes life is meant to be spent having a good time and doesn't waste a second of it being sad or angry or negative in general, though that isn't to say she isn't emotional at times. She urges her clanmates to follow the same idea, but isn't one to force-feed her agenda to others and only does her best to ensure that everyone is comfortable and happy. Though she feels for others strongly, Bellfeather is a very relaxed and calm warrior, and it is easy to misinterpret her generally chill nature as pure laziness. However, the she-cat isn't afflicted by a lack of motivation; rather, Bellfeather is simply one to go with the flow and in doing so, she has ended up as cool as a cucumber when it comes to her outlook on many various circumstances. Not to mention, she really enjoys sunbathing and cloud-watching. Despite how she comes off initially, anyone who knows Bellfeather personally- especially from her apprentice days- knows that she is one of the most persistent and strong-willed cats out there when she has put her mind to something. Like a little soldier in her youth, she threw her all into anything she really cared for, and that still reigns true to this day, as a warrior. It just without Mothstar's constant present over her actions, she has allowed herself to relax her more serious tendencies in order to be who she really is. Still, you wouldn't want to get in between her and her goals. Bellfeather also cares deeply for all her clanmates, and all cats really. She is the opposite of a xenophobe, accepting everyone with an open heart unless given great reason as to not. She wishes good will for all and wants to do what she feels is best, even if it isn't what others think is right. She has been told that she loves blindly, and because of hearing that in her youth, she grew up believing in her heart before anything else. Doing everything in her power to make sure others are safe and cared for because she cherishes everyone, Bellfeather is easily one referred to as 'all-loving.' History Bellfeather had been born in a small litter of two to a pair of warriors in Mistclan- a mottled silvery blue tom named Gravelfur, and a stern, but pretty dark brown queen named Pikefoot. The cats had been companions through their apprenticehood, but not quite lovers. Rather, they were close friends who ended up having kits together under the specific circumstance of needing more cats in the clan at the time. So the two committed to sharing a litter while their clan was in need. The pair managed to bring two young she-kits into Mistclan's ranks- a silvery blue kitten like her father and a dark, almost black kitten not unlike her mother in appearance. These two were named Bellkit and Moonkit respectively. The family did well enough in adding to the clan's ranks at first, but as the Leafbare approached the forest, kittencough found its way into the heart of Mistclan and riddled the new sisters with its wicked cough. Moonkit was snuffed out almost immediately, but Bellkit clung to life as hard as any warrior in the midst of battle. She managed to pull through into the Newleaf moons, quickly recovering and growing strong until she was the age at which she could be apprenticed. Apprenticed under the watchful eyes of Mothmaw, Bellpaw's life was very difficult. The stern warrior was well known and arguably well-loved in Mistclan as one of the toughest and most noble of seasoned warriors and it was a proud day for Bellpaw's family when she was put into his care, but Bellpaw wasn't so certain at first. The vastly older cat was hard on her, pushing her further than the young she-cat was certain she could ever go. He pressed her limits and managed to hone her into a fine cat, determined and true to her causes, and over the moons of rigorous training, Bellpaw found herself smitten with Mothmaw. Not quite in the terms of romance, but more as an idol. She respected her mentor greatly and sought to follow in his footsteps, even if it was the beat of her own drum. The she-cat had received her warrior name as a recognized warrior of Mistclan; Bellfeather, for the deep blue of her feathery fur, and donned it proudly. She acted as a warrior of the code ought to, handling all the tasks thrown her way with as much dedication as she had during her apprenticehood. Still, she fell more into a relaxed persona, not taking too many things are seriously as other might and generally stood out like a thorn in Mistclan's pad as she went about her business in her spare time. It was only when fate seemed to grab the misty clan by the scruff that Bellfeather's conviction was snapped away by her excitement. The promise of a new clan was on the rise and at the forefront of the project was none other than Mothmaw, taking upon him the role of leader for theis new clan. Bellfeather had been swept up in all the excitement and her idolization of the now Mothstar that she followed blithely after her old teacher without even looking back to the cats who had once been her family. Her heart ached for them; her mother the active and respected warrior and her father the honored member of Starclan. But her heart also told her that her place was alongside Mothstar as his loyal disciple. And so she went to become a loyal member of Mothclan. The moons in the new clan had caused for much excitement for the she-cat as she watched as cats from her home clan as well as Ivyclan and even outside them rose up to form the newborn Mothclan. And among them was a young ginger tom with a flattish face and vivid green eyes. This cat, Froggy, had been renamed to Frogpaw and given to Bellfeather to raise up as one of the first true warriors of Mothclan that would eventually be named. the blue queen taught the nervous cat all she knew and before she knew it, the two had formed a closer friendship than Bellfether had ever known; a bond perhaps tighter than even her ties to Mothstar. And as she watched Frogpaw become Frogsong, she felt the first true swell of pride as a warrior of Mothclan. She know acts as any other warrior of Mothclan, albeit far more laid back than the rest of her clanmates, all equally as high-strung as those of Mistclan. [Miscellaneous] Friends RP Example [RP from PokéPark on Pokefarm - Babayaga the Delphox] Honey gold eyes leered in the darkness of the rain which was now much stronger than the former sprinkle of droplets it had evolved from. A faint hiss sounded against the pattering of the shower overhead as the droplets evaporated off the plume of fur that the fox Pokemon donned. Babayaga's upper lip curled as a growl escaped her lungs, flattening her large ears to the best of her ability. With her thick tail lashing uneasily, the slender Delphox shrank back further into the underground, which seemed to grow tighter around her the further she moved. In her current size- even being one of the smaller creatures in the breed- was still much more problematic when it came to hiding. So easy it had been to shy away into a tangle of dense vegetation to avoid the rain as a Fennekin- even a Braixen. But now Baba seemed to be the brunt of nature's frustrations as the falling droplets broke through the barrier that the dark canopy of foresty trees had once held in strength before the thin membranes of the leaves grew heavy and limp with water. Sizzling. Sizzling was not good. It proved too loud of a sound, even for the rain-filled air that gave a soft splatter with every collision between the draining sky and accepting earth. It would only take one Pokemon with the keenest of hearing to pinpoint the sizzle- even higher chances that they would catch sight of the steam- and Baba was doomed. There was hardly a chance she could win a battle on a sunny day, let alone a heavily rainy one. The dangerous threat of being found was too much for the frantic creature to take and the towering Fox Pokemon tore off into a run on all four- appearing quite awkward albeit, but faster than she would've got it travelling upright on her hind legs. She had to get out of this drizzly wood and as she fled, a trail of steam followed more slowly in pursuit as it floated from her hissing pelt. It didn't take long for the Fire-Type to come across a cavern, and though it smelled of foreign scents that made her skin crawl with paranoia, the thought of remaining out in the cold wetness of the outside world when she was already becoming sopping wet was more than enough to send her packing into the cave without a hint of hesitation. Upon entering the stony mouth of the landscape, Baba had not an inkling as to where she was, what else was in inside with her, and how well she would fare before the weather let up. In an attempt to quash any feelings of terror or regret for entering the unusual cavern, the scrawny Delphox elicited a thin streak of flame from her honey-toned muzzle and grinned a bit at the sound of loud fizzling as the jet of fire evaporated what water she trailed in from the stone floor and charred a small portion of the area. And while the spot was still hot with embers, the tall fox creature hurriedly hunkered down and curled into as tight of a ball as she could ever get. The sudden warmth was enticing and drew a purr from deep within her throat, though the feeling was short-lived as the rest of her damp hide smothered out the lasting little lives of heat. But at least she could dry there in peace. ”Hopefully…”
