she-cat : 62 moons : ivyclan warrior : homosexual?
- - smells of almost nothing, usually similar to what's around her - -

APPEARANCE: {medium-longhair chocolate and white with round, curled ears}
|| Rare Pelt & Mutation(Curled Ears) ; courtesy Harry's Lucky Dip on CH's first anniversary! ||
Snowfawn is a petite cat, favoring her father's small frame and supple limbs genetically. She has a delicate, long face with an abrupt nose and squared cheeks. Her tail is long and she tends to carry it with a distinct angle half-way up, or else allow it to hang down at her ankles passively. In contrast to the rest of her, she has her mother's large and intimidating paws, making her an efficient climber and a formidable grappler in combat. Even so, she tries to keep her claws sheathed unless needed. Her ears are somewhat large and have a unique shape- round and curled back towards her neck, with long strands of fur feathering off of the bases.
She appears artificially bigger than she is due to her feathery coat of white and brown fur, and if she were wet or shaved she'd appear a third the size she usually does. Her pattern is an unusual bicolor, with a cap of brown on the back of her head, and a blanket of it from her shoulders to her upper haunches and tail, dappled with white nearly up to her spine in some spots, and topped off with a notable brown spot on her left shoulder and a white tailtip. She has dark "eyebrow" markings and the brown on her coat shows darker tinging on the spine, hinting at a smoke or ticked pattern. Her eyes are a dark grey-green or grey-blue-green tone like river stones and her nose and pads are light pink.

PERSONALITY:
{briefly; courageous, kind, forgiving, shy, frank, dry wit}
Though once a fairly depressed and closeted child, with the support of her brother she returned to her more spirited ways from when she was a kitten, though tempered by maturity. Snowfawn has a strong sense of good and bad, and is willing to fight for her beliefs if the other side won't listen. Despite this, she is perfectly willing to forgive old feuds if the other party fesses up, apologizes, or explains themselves sufficiently.
Unfortunately, she can tend to make allowances for others who provide falsified explanation, but if something seems really unlikely she'll try to get to the bottom of things and see who's telling what lies.
Though active in clan politics to an extent, she is shy socially, and has a hard time making friends and maintaining conversations without stumbling over her thoughts. She has a dry sense of humor, and combined with her tendency to avoid sugar-coating situations, is sometimes misunderstood or seen as rude.

HISTORY:
Snowkit was born in a small litter alongside a brother named Berrykit to two IvyClan warriors, Gorseleap and Hawktail. Gorseleap was a young but vicious she-cat, known by the severe scars on her sides, earned from a battle with a dog when she helped Gorseleap escape from a nasty encounter. Hawktail himself was a bit of a pushover, always a cautious cat and neurotically nervous and timid after his tail became caught in a wire fence chasing away a rogue, leaving him starving, thirsty, and in pain for two days until he was finally found; most of his tail eventually had to be chewed off to prevent dire infection. Never much of a mother, Gorseleap returned to warrior duties after forcing her children to wean early, in spite of protests and persuasion from many others, leaving Hawktail to tend to his children as best he could manage. Unfortunately, he wasn't very effectual, and Snowkit and Berrykit often sneaked out to get in trouble or pester other cats. Snowkit became known for her escape attempts, and Berrykit for his frightening affinity for tasting anything he could fit in his mouth in the medicine den. Their main adversary was Greykit, a slightly older she-cat who blamed their father and by extension them for a terrible injury that killed her own father after Hawktail became paralyzed in fear after spotting a fox.
When they apprenticed, Snowpaw was full of excitement, in spite of Greypaw's little jabs at her. It wasn't to last; Hawktail finally succumbed to his own instability when he ran out into a blizzard and was found the next day buried in snow, apparently dying of exposure. Snowpaw spent two days crying and being unable to do anything, while Berrypaw closed himself off emotionally, leaving his sister behind when she needed him most, and the two remained distant until later events. Gorseleap moved on as quickly as she'd hooked up with him, instead falling victim with a scream of rage to a mere disease that same season, cursing Hawktail for spreading his weakness to her. Snowpaw could only feel numbness at the news; they hadn't been very close, and she sometimes didn't think she wanted to be related to someone like her mother anyway.

The very moon Snowpaw and Berrypaw were old enough to graduate, Greyfang- their childhood tormentor- suggested they go on a patrol to "air things out" between them all. Snowpaw was initially suspicious, but she had no proof of anything, and Berrypaw was keen to get the past behind him. Greyfang brought them to a seldom visited corner of IvyClan territory, the furthest edge of both their and MistClan's lands, pointing away from twolegplace. There, a serpent-like grey tabby waited for them, looking them over coldly. Greyfang began to whisper something to him, when Berrypaw raised a protest against speaking to a rival on the border. Suddenly, the larger warrior was upon Berrypaw, and the young apprentice only escaped when Snowpaw tore into the stranger's ear before being shoved away by Greyfang. The two ran back to camp, huddling together for the first time since their father passed away and waiting for the leader to come out. They explained their story as best they could, but Greyfang never returned and was presumed to have run away or died somehow.
Snowpaw was named Snowfawn and Berrypaw as Berryhorn at 15 moons of age, their training elongated by a couple moons total of recovery and grieving for this or that. On the journey to the new territories, Snowfern and Berryhorn protected each other, reconciling in full, before Berryhorn's luck finally ran out and he found himself stuck in a collapsed animal den. She was unable to dig him out or find another exit, and he was presumed dead. It remains unknown if he truly died, and Snowfawn sometimes hopes that none of the stars she sees belong to his spirit.
She has more or less moved on from her past, and is just trying to be the best warrior she can for the clan that kept her going even when she couldn't muster the willpower to even get up in the morning.

Other notes; Misses Berryhorn dearly and hopes to see him again, whether in StarClan or, somehow, alive
