Hark!! Strawberry fields and marmalade skies ahead!!
"I walked a path, bloody trodden and scented sweet, as a lazy green river flanked my snow-dusted, sun-kissed pelt. An illusion? A dream? Perhaps. I feel calm and warm and what is this I see ahead of me? A sandy-swept face and flower petal eyes? Her gaze is haunting, but pulls me, lulls me into a soothed state. Is this real life? Is it fantasy? Can I stay here? Oh, you want me to just do that. A little bit of blood here and there to stay here? Well, I guess so. It is just like a dream, right?"
|| LORE AND INFORMATION ||
Backstory
• The clans were oblivious when the Greenleaf moons last rolled around. Fixated on withering leaders, star-crossed lovers, and a drug-induced haze. However, when the spores of Silver Vine crept down from the old territories in the mountains, more than a few moons of confusion where brought along with them. A moon of darkness has risen as the once comatose spirit of Flowereyes, a most heinous queen born of Ivyclan and Mistclan blood, awoke to find herself in a new era of cats. Lazing about on her precious Silver Vine drug, Flowereyes watched the three clans with an interested gaze, and when the season passed and her drug waned, the newly awoke spirit desired a new source of entertainment.
• A master manipulator, Flowereyes took to tricking oblivious kits and apprentices who caught her fancy, lulling them in with a whimsical dreamscape all her own within the depths of the Dark Forest with the alluring promise of ancient techniques and a place for all the wayward souls captured by her web to call their own. As days go by, the malicious puppetmaster has managed to acquired many a kit and apprentice to fight for her cause, still shrouded in the mysterious black fog that seeps from her steps.
General Information
• Flowereyes is a malicious member of the Dark Forest, most known for her blood history as a mother and for her exotic flower-esque eyes. Around since the time of the Old Territories and kept alive through all sorts of skewed tales, she has spent many moons in darkness, though illusive and mostly beyond reach. It wasn't until she was lulled from her eternal sleep by the scent of her beloved Silver Vine that she took to treading in the dreams of those most receptive to her spirit; kits and other youngsters. After all, even if she herself didn't want to be a queen, the instincts of a kit are drawn to a mothering figure.
• Because of her pull, Flowereyes only accepts kits and apprentices which amuse her and otherwise grab her attention. To start of her hold on the clans, she sought out cats who otherwise couldn't keep up with their peers due to things beyond their control; specifically albinos. Offering them a place to train without worry of the real sun, cats like Palekit and Wingedpaw started their unknowingly taboo training. Flowereyes felt such excitement by the idea of tricking such easily-manipulated cats, she took to growing her collection by grabbing those more compelled by the dark side. Cats who enjoyed tormenting their siblings and denmates, those who hunted for the thrill of the kill, those who sought overwhelming glory, and those who talked nonsense like the beebrains they were. These were who carried in their hearts the flickers of Flowereyes' hellflame. Despite this, she still takes joy in tricking sweet and innocent kits to her side too.
• Flowereyes barely has the patience to put up with mindless kits, let alone a fully-functioning adult. Thus, the only warriors included in the ranks of her army are those who were trained from kithood/apprenticehood into adulthood. This means she will not accept warriors, even if newly named.
• Flowereyes has a very unique power specific to to her in which upon first meeting a potential follower, she manipulates and bends the reality of the dream to craft a miraculous dreamscape that eases the newcomer into a false sense of safety and complacency. This over time morphs back into the decayed forest in the Sky of No Star, but changes slowly to match the pace of the cat training there. No sense in scaring them off too soon unless Flowereyes has grown bored of them.
• It's rather unclear what Flowereyes wants from forming her kitten army; in life, she was a spiteful and vindictive cat who sought power and superiority over her clanmates. And in death, she bestowed a curse upon her living kin to carry on a legacy of misery and heartbreak. In her fresh death, she was even more vengeful, but as countless moons have passed her, Flowereyes seems to simply have just grown bored and wishes to just see the world fall into despair. Anything more beyond that is beyond the imaginations of her followers. Instead, most of her trainees simply fight to carry on her glory in the land of the living. Perhaps one day Flowereyes will walk among them, more powerful than ever, or perhaps she'll rejoin them in the land of the living. But until then, she's simply there for the roller coaster of a ride that is the clans' precious legacy turning against them.
|| THE ARMY ||
Below is the listing of cats under her rule, whether there by force of by their own accord. Also included are those who have been approached to join but refused, and others who managed to find themselves swept up in Flowereyes' dealings.
Wingedheart
Trained beneath Flowereyes during her apprenticehood in order to keep up with her peers, not out of malice for her clan. Now that she can stand on her own as a warrior, she tries to avoid dreaming of Flowereyes' training pastures, but sometimes finds herself lost there.
Palepaw

Pink Petals of the Paw (Petalpaw)
A wily little hell raiser in Mistclan, Petalpaw was being trained by Flowereyes' hench-apprentice, Birdpaw, before she took off to the Tribe. While she hasn't been seen in the DF as of late by the other soldiers, Flowereyes still has an inkling that Petalpaw is using her learned tactics among the 'other' enemy.
Foxpaw
Stuck with the idea of being superior over others, he trains desperately in the DF to win Flowereyes' approval despite his usual disinterest in others. He feels a great disdain for the flower queen because she favors other soliders over him and has decided to take it upon himself to train in the Df without her guidance.
Birchpaw

Cottonpaw
A batty little time bomb, Flowereyes took immense interest and contentedness in toying with the flighty kit. While all others simply dream of her, it seems Cottonpaw could act as a bridge to the land of the living for her as Flowereyes has the capacity to manipulate him even when awake.

Dropletpaw
Carrying on one her trademark flowery eyes, as a kit Dropletpaw grabbed Flowereyes' attention. The kit was ambitious and driven and reminded the queen of herself in the past, thus took it upon herself to hone her perfectly.

Ripplepaw

Bubblepaw
Once invited alongside her sisters as kits, Bubblepaw was not as taken with her legendary kinmate's invitation to train, instead finding it boring. She only returned to the DF a time or two due to her closeness with Dropletpaw. She has zero interest in Flowereye, but it is Bubblepaw's lack of fear in her that interests the queen.
Potential Recruits
Murk-kit
Halfkit
Venomkit
If you are interested in this (so far) unofficial plot, please post here with a reason as to why a particular kit/apprentice would be interested in joining/a reason why Flowereyes would seek them out. She is always looking to expand her numbers, but only accepts young cats and only those who would keep her attention. This is a flexible plot, but also working down a specific path, so make sure to let me know first if you want to incorporate Flowereyes into anything your little soldiers may do.
Please let me know if I've missed anyone, and for those already listed, please send be a short snippet (such as seen above) that would explain their dealings with the army and Flowereyes. This could include their goals, thoughts of Flowereyes,etc.
