Dandeliondrift Tom 46 Moons Pansexual MistClan Warrior "Let's talk about this." - - - Appearance A tall, slim and solid black tom with golden-orange eyes. Dandeliondrift's name came from the field of dandelion's he was born in but he slowly grew to suit it more as he grew older. His coat is dark as the night with the exception of a single starburst of white hairs on his chest like a dandelion puff yet unblown and his eyes almost match the same yellow as their flowering blooms. A scar runs from his under belly to the side of his left haunch and his right ear is notched with claw marks. Personality A generally laid-back tom, Dandeliondrift doesn't care for conflict and would rather just spend his days hunting and sunbathing than pitting claws with trespassers. His dislike of fighting by no means labels him as incompetent and he didn't get to the age he is now by not being able to lock claws as needed.  A passive fellow, he goes with the flow and is easy to get along with as he is agreeable without being entirely submissive. Firm in his believes but hardly the type to start arguments, he tends to keep his more controversial thoughts to himself but will call out things he disagrees with that he feels might otherwise cause trouble in the long term. Trivial things however? He doesn't care.  History Born in a field of dandelions to a mother who was stubborn and refused to be cooped up in the nursery, it was fortunate for him that the medicine cat was within calling distance but not so fortunate for his siblings who lived long enough to be named before dying of complications. A litter of three dropped to a litter of one and the pregnancy had left his mother lethargic and quiet until she too passed peacefully in her sleep. The death was chalked up to blood loss due to being away from proper care when she had the kits and Dandelionkit was left with another nursing queen to tend to. His childhood was terrible uneventful-leading to his naturally chill demeanor as nothing too exciting happened and he remained calm and quiet for most his apprenticeship. During his assessment to become a warrior he stumbled headlong into a fox nest no one had been aware of and in the process of fleeing their snapping jaws he inadvertently lead them right into his mentor who was watching him from a distance. The resulting clash of teeth and claw left Dandelionpaw and his mentor in bad shape and while the young black tom recovered his mentor was forced to retire early. A fact that filled him with guilt and since then he has been diligent in keeping the elder's den clean and freshened up; visiting every chance he got. Given then name Dandeliondrift due to his habit of just going with the flow, he is a fairly normal and sensible warrior who has yet to take an apprentice and has zero aspirations aside from serving his clan until retirement. Other Mother was named Goldenpetal, father was named Thistlefoot and died before he was born. His two deceased siblings were: Leafkit and Cloudkit.
