Lightning that Strikes the Forest led the way out of camp. She was excited to be going hunting with her sister. She hoped she would be of some help. As a Home Guard she never really learned to hunt like her sister. Sure she had a couple lessons in hunting to learn the basics but most of her training was on fighting so she could protect her tribe and their camp. She would often go out with Prey Hunters to protect them from anything that might attack them while hunting but she had only sat and watched as her sister Smoke or another Prey Hunter did the actual hunting. Sometimes she would help bring down a large bird of prey if needed. 


"So you're the prey hunter what are we looking for? What can I do to help you catch some prey? I want to help if I can but more then anything I'm just glad to have you to myself for a little while," Lightning purred and gave her sisters ear a playful flick with her tail.

Smoke that fills Night Sky was excited to hunt with her sister. She fell into step with her sister. She scented the air already as they made it to the deep forest. The last time she was here she was here alone with Ruby another Tribe prey-hunter. She cleared her head as now wasn't the time. She needed to enjoy her time with her sister and bring some prey back for the tribe.

She turned to her sister when her sister spoke. She had her tail try and flick her sister as her sisters tail flicked over her ear. She scented the air for any prey. "Need to be quiet and scent the air for any prey scent." she whispered.

She could scent some squirrels and a mouse near by but she wanted to see if her sister can pick their scent as well.

Lightning That Strikes Forest followed in her sister's paws and waited to hear what she would need to do to hunt prey. When she finally told her she nodded her head. She to be quiet and scent the air for prey scent. That was kind of like patrolling the border she had to stay quiet and alert for any sound, smell or sight for danger. She paused next to her sister and scented the air. She smelled prey scent... but she wasn't sure what it was. She took in a deep breath letting the scents of the forest flow through her mouth. Mouse, she could definitely smell a mouse. She twitched her ear to show her sister where and breathed out a single word so softly only Smoke who stood at her side would be able to hear it "mouse."

Smoke that Fills Night sky, nodded her head. "Yes." she whispered and lowered her body and looked at her sister to show her sister how to lower her body. Once she was sure it was good enough she went for where the mouse would be. She noticed the mouse was going right for her sister. "Hey!" she meowed to her sister hoping her sister would take the hint that the mouse was going for her.

Lightning watched as Smoke prowled around and closer to the mouse. She remained where she was and didn't move for fear of scaring it away. She watched closely and noticed when the mouse fled towards her. She didn't need her sisters call to alert her. She leaped and pinned the mouse down between he paws then quickly nipped it's spine killing it. Lifting her head with the mouse dangling from her jaws she purred proudly. "We make a good team," she mewed around the mouse.

"Oh, yes we can!" Smoke meowed with a purr and excitment. She looked at the catch and then wondered if they should try to get more prey. She scented the air to see if she can scent anything else and sure enough she picked up another scent of some kind of prey.

Lightning purred happily glad she had gotten some time alone with her sister. She waited for her sisters next signal but as she waited she heard a strange noise in the distance. "What's that?" She mewed softly than began to slowly prowl towards the noise. She paid no attention to if her sister followed her or not. The noise steadily grew louder and louder. It was a noise she had never heard before. It sounded like something very big was growling followed by some kind of creature crying out in a strange language. She had never seen a furless bear before but as she ducked under a bush she spotted a group of strange creatures that looked like bears on their back paws but they had no fur. She had heard other tribe members talk about furless bears this must be them. But those creatures they were made of stone and they were tearing down trees and ripping up the ground. Her mouth opened wide in a soundless yowl of fright her eyes huge and filled with fear.
