The skirmish was nothing new, but Larchflight was beaten rather badly, and when her clan fled... She just couldn't keep up with them. The long legged black she cat was left in the dust, and she dragged her bloody body off to the side to rest.
The next morning nobody came for her, her entire body aching too severely to really do much but lay there. She lay still for what seemed like a lifetime, then she heard the voices. It wasn't long before two two legs towered above her, meowing to each other in their strange language. She snarled and spat, but they picked her broken body up out of the dirt.

The two faced she cat had grown rather accustomed to Ivyclan, but most days she was like a zombie. A slave to her own duties, going through the motions. Her kits had become apprentices, and she had no intention to have another litter anytime soon. She had her duties, she had much to prove still. She always did, from the day she crawled from the mud as a tiny, sick kit.
She wondered if Mothstar watched her still, was he proud?

Their mother was dead. All that was left were the stones and memories of her sweet voice. Artemis sat alongside Viper, head held high. "I want to leave." She murmured quietly to him, looking up toward the ginger tom.
He only nodded.

The twolegs were kind, and soon Larchflight was on her paws again. But now she bore a bright pink collar with a small silver bell, and her stomach had grown with the easy meals. She had a new name now,
One day, the small woman that had taken her in placed her in the monster she often vanished in. And they started moving, the trees and grass passing the kittypet by like she was flying. She had no idea where they were going, but it was away and somewhere new. She was going to see the world.

Briardawn sat out under the stars, staring upward. Her paws ached dully, as they always did after a long day of hunting and patrolling. Patrols had increased since the black she cat went missing.
She rose to her paws, and spoke in her strange voice. Perhaps just to herself, perhaps to an unknown listener. "I don't have to prove anything to you." And then she moved into the dark of the warrior's den.

Artemis and Viper stepped into the field, the opposite side of where the clans lay their claim. It was time to go, and behind them trailed many cats. Rogues, kittypets, loners that had decided to leave with them. They were going to find a new home, a better one where the ground was soft and food plenty.
((Low effort but I'm leaving forum RP. I had fun.))
