Lionburr was excited to start training, with Venompaw, he enjoyed training apprentices. It was just something else to keep him busy. "Vemonpaw!" he called to the apprentice. He waited for a bit before he started leaving the apprentice den area and started making his way out of camp, but never too fast, and always making sure Vemonpaw was coming as well. 

He did remember how she wasn't excited that she got him as a mentor, but he didn't show sign of him noticing it at the ceremony, that didn't even bother him. It wasn't the first time he saw apprentices sometimes not liking at first who they got for a mentor. He decided to head to the training area today. "We are heading to the training area today," he meowed as they left the camp.

Venompaw, of course, was a tad dissatisfied with her mentor choice. Could it have been a better pick? Yes. Could it have been worse? Definitely. Perhaps it was her father's word in it that made all the difference in who her mentor was. But, no matter! If they didn't mold her into a perfect warrior, then she'd simply become better then them.

Hearing a voice call her out of her light slumber, Venompaw's tail twitched slightly, and when it smacked her in the muzzle a few times she just decided to get up. Her blue tabby fur, one she got from her mother in Ivyclan, was thick and luxurious... But in the mornings, much less tidy. If there was training, what was the point in grooming? She could clean up after, maybe catch Sabletail's attention or even spark Bearstar to see how excellent she was becoming. 


Following behind, she gave a small hum at the training location, glancing towards as her ears curved to the front. Her pawsteps treaded lightly, her tail bouncing only slightly above the ground.

Lionburr didn't have to wait long, he was already leading the way to the training meadow. He set a decent pace to get to the meadow. He wrapped his tail around his paws. "We try hunting practice today." he meowed, leaving no room for dispute. He knew they had to start someplace, and figured hunting was a good place to start.

"Get into a hunter's crouch." he meowed.
