He had to pause his strides forward every so often, his eagerness causing him to leave his companion further and further behind but could you really blame him? This was an exciting prospect, he dearly hoped things would go well but if not he wouldn't be too heartbroken; there were other groups of cats around this area who might take them in. But his heart was set on this one in particular, the sharp smell of the waterfall was refreshing and clean, the cool mist in the air from the waterside made his fur prickle in delight. It was this area he warmed too, it was this area he knew a clowder was present in as well. MistClan, they were called, at least from what he'd heard. Hershey continued on, the farm house slowly shrinking in the distance though he wasn't too bothered leaving it behind. Most cats would love the warm barn and plentiful mouse population, but he didn't escape his two-legs to grow fat and lazy as a different sort of pet.
"Pan, it smells...different here." Scent boundaries were nothing new, they had some in the two-leg place where roaming groups of loners and rogues stake their claim to a tiny chunk of territory, but this was more strict. The smell sharp, a warning to his nose not to go no further, it was obvious they had reached the area this clan resided in and he didn't dare test the limits of those boundaries.
The chocolate colored tom whirled about, long tail twirling as he faced behind him for the other feline to catch up, his teeth visible in a sharp grin, "You think this is it? What do we do, wait here? I don't think they'd like us going too far in..."
Last thing they wanted was a bad impression, Hershey couldn't even begin to wonder what would happen if they made the forest cats angry the second they got here. Would they be killed? He wasn't sure, but he certainly hoped not. The fear, however, did little to quell his enthusiasm.
