    Daisypetals padded through the dark tunnels of the mine, his only light coming from the ethereal glow of the Moonstone. Even before he laid eyes upon it, he could see beams of blue light casting off of the walls, enveloping him in the mysterious glow of StarClan. Within moments of seeing its glow, the medicine cat finally found himself standing in the presence of the Moonstone. Daisypetals nervously drew a paw across his face, smoothing a few stray whiskers. He knew that he was not meant to be here. For a medicine cat to just wander in to the mines alone, not on a day of ceremony, it was unheard of. At least, it was as far as he knew. That was just one more thing to add to his list of mysteries. 
"Um...StarClan? Can you hear me?" He glanced around nervously. What was he supposed to do? Was he supposed to touch his nose to the stone, like he did during the gatherings? Or was that only for gatherings? He had no idea. 
"Please, I just want to see Halfpaw. Silvermist, and the kits-well, I guess they aren't really kits now... but I promised that I would check on Halfpaw, but I haven't been able to...so please...if you are listening? Anyone?"

There was always peace in the starry fields. Prey was always running and the seasons never changed, it was always perfect. Sunstrike was always in the midst of it. Ever since the deadly redcough had taken her life, she had become more transparent than she noticed other cats were. No one really remembered her but she was okay with that. As long as she got to have her moment of peace.

She drew a paw over her whiskers as she lay beneath a great tree whose roots jumped above the ground and dipped back into it. The days hadn’t exactly been quiet recently and today would be no exception. She heard someone.

She swiveled her ears and looked around. Sunstrike closed her eyes and pictured the voice. It was Daisypetals, the medicine cat apprentice of MistClan. She brought him to StarClan’s fields even when he hadn’t touched the Moonstone. Sunstrike was never one to be involved in prophecies or anything to do with living cats, really; she wasn’t that important, you see, but it seemed she was the only one that heard him.

She stood and faced the tom as he came into view. “I hear you, Daisypetals. What is it that you need?”

Daisypetals squeezed his eyes shut, and when he opened them, he found himself transported into the world of StarClan. Even now, when he had come here countless times for prophecies and gatherings, he found himself blown away by the majestic simplicity of the starry fields. As he glanced down, he secretly marveled at the way his paws seemed to slowly materialize until he could no longer see the lush grass beneath them. Still, as a living cat, he had found that he was left unable to move even a single blade. It was as if they knew that he was not meant to be here. 
“I hear you, Daisypetals. What is it that you need?”
The fluffy tomcat looked up, coming face to face with the faint image of a pretty she-cat. Although he did not know her name, and he doubted that they had met, in life or StarClan, he found himself instantly relieved by her presence. 
"I..um...I was just wondering..." he glanced at his paws, unsure of how he could speak his request. "I wanted to see Halfpaw...he was...is?..my..um, he's my son, sort of. But he...he died. I have been trying to see him, but I couldn't reach him through my dreams, and then at the medicine cat gathering there was so much else happening..."

Sunstrike listened with patience as Daisypetals spoke with hesitance and unsurety. "I wanted to see Halfpaw...he was...is?..my..um, he's my son, sort of. But he...he died. I have been trying to see him, but I couldn't reach him through my dreams, and then at the medicine cat gathering there was so much else happening..."

Halfpaw. Sunstrike knew of him, how could she not? She watched as he was killed for practically no reason at all other than jealousy. How could she word this? “Yes, with the prophecy, of course. Halfpaw…” she began, “you will see him soon enough.” And that was all she said. StarClan was not and never will be straightforward, it just wasn’t their forte.

Daisypetals watched Sunstrike, hoping to catch even a glimpse of understanding in her eyes. For a moment, he was sure that he was finally at his journey's end, and that maybe, just maybe, this StarClan cat would put his worries to rest. 
“Yes, with the prophecy, of course. Halfpaw…you will see him soon enough.”
The medicine cat brightened for a moment, then paused, trying to understand what Sunstrike meant. What prophecy? When was Halfpaw involved in a prophecy? Did she mean that he was in StarClan, or...somewhere else..Daisypetals looked up to ask more, but the StarClan warrior was gone. Of course....
He awoke back in the mines, with more questions than he had come with. 

(OOC I assumed when you said that she would say no more that this meant she was skeet sleeting back to the stars)
