Thunderbird - - >
As she set her injured paw down, she tried not to wince at the slight sting. Putting a little more weight on it, it wasn't as bad as she had imagined. After all, she had been burned before, this was a lot more mild compared to that. Her confidence renewing, she looked over to Suncatcher, "Yeah, I think I'll be alright. Just a scratch." Her yellow eyes scanned the bank, watching the frogs hop after one another. She listened as the MistClan she-cat retold her story of sleeping in a puddle, causing Thunderbird to let out a soft purr of amusement. "You must be a heavy sleeper, then." The tortie mused, flicking her tail against her companions shoulder playfully. Now that they were getting closer to the camp, she oddly felt much better.
Giving a few quick licks to her dampened chest, she turned to follow the she-cat down the path, noting her comment about the frogs. Just looking at them made her want to gag, she couldn't imagine trying to eat one. They looked very chewy, and honestly couldn't imagine the flavor to be that great. When she had been staying in MistClan's camp, she was sure to avoid them on the fresh-kill pile. She'd had her first taste of fish here, though , and she had to say she was a fan. "That's alright, I don't know if I really would want to eat them anyway. It might get caught in my throat with my luck." Thunderbird continued forward, making note of the pathway that they were taking. It was pretty familiar, and the smell of the other MistClan cats was definitely apparent, they were getting close to camp. She began to run through things she was going to say to Sablestar to assure him she would be not only valuable to have in his Clan, but also the situation going on in MothClan. She shook her head. Was it just today that she was there? It all seemed like a fever dream to her now as she observed the lanky she-cat in front of her. Well, at least she had made a friend, which was impressive for the fiery warrior. Yeah, she thought, this would be a good change for her.
