It had been a few days, now, since he had joined MothClan and seen his family take on new names. Since their first patrol, a few others had joined, like Mapleblaze and Poppyfrost- but he had done it first. Even so, he was starting to get impatient. After asking around, he discovered it wouldn't be long before this "Gathering" took place and they'd be able to go forward with their plan to attack and destroy RootClan. But what were they doing in the meantime? Sitting around. He didn't even have a good excuse to go outside the camp- all the other regular warriors were doing the hunting and patrolling. He had nothing to but spar with his fellow Elites and absorb the sun. Perhaps spurred by boredom or just idle curiosity, today, he decided, he would try to 'mingle' with the others.

Not the best at starting conversation, Orion hovered around camp, trying to make eye contact with anyone passing by.

Goldenkit wandered around the camp. He was bored; kits were usually uninterested in his conversations anyway. He preferred to talk with older cats. He noticed the presence of a strange cat. His mother, Cougarstrike, had warned him about "shady rogues" that joined the Clan, but that was as far as Cougarstrike would explain it. This cat looked unfamiliar, and smelled kind of funny. But what harm could it do? If it was allowed into the Clan, and if the cat did hurt him, someone would notice.
His tail waving high in the air, Goldenkit charged at the cat's tail, pouncing on it before rolling over and purring. "Hello!", he. mewed with a cheerful tone.

Orion's head swiveled around, eyes wide as he was addressed from behind by someone he hadn't even seen approach- who dared!? As he opened his jaws to scold the offender, though, he realized he had to look down to see them, and it registered that they were... literally a kitten. Hmph. He supposed all those clan cats had to come from somewhere. Originally, he was going to boss this cat around, but it felt kind of unfair to pull that on a child. "Er... hi," he grumbled, looking around before taking a seat, "What are you up to, anyway? Don't you have, I dunno, moss to chase?"

Goldenkit turned to face the strange cat, and he stared up blankly, with a somewhat awkward look on his face. He was excited to talk with a new cat around here. Clearly, this cat wasn't too amused, Goldenkit could tell.
Goldenkit replied to the cat's question. "Hi! I'm Goldenkit! I wanna play with you! The moss in the nursery is getting boring", the kit sighed, kicking his hind paws in the dust. He jumped and pranced in circles. "Do ya wanna play? What games do you like?" He crouched, wiggling his haunches, then springing forward and pouncing on a leaf. He snatched the leaf in his jaws and dropped it at the cat's paws, glancing up excitedly. "You like pouncing on stuff? Here's a leaf I pounced on!"
