Ashen paws struck the ground softly as she passed through the glistening forest, the heavenly blue hues almost making her thin, messy coat glow. Even in the afterlife, Lilydawn wasn't the one to want to sit around, and her mature, but rebellious nature, caused her to stray away from sunbathing and napping to try and find real work to do.
If it wasn't for the rockfall, the illness plaguing her... Perhaps she'd still be working as Ivyclan's Medicine cat. But there was no changing the past, no changing Owlstar's decisions to allow her to pursue the warrior, the medicine path. Or Rookstar's insanity, which had only worsened the blow and brought salt to her wounds after he had suddenly died. Perhaps... Ivyclan needed a stronger cat. She had faith in her apprentice, Finchtuft, to do just fine.
After finding a small clearing distanced from the majority of cats, a small reflective pond gave her almost the inside view of the living world. It was a bit unusual at first- and felt wrong to be almost stalking cats in this private pool shaped window she had found, but Lilydawn didn't have time to peek on couples or kits. No... She noticed something else. Something... Much more worrying.
What we're all these cats doing, at night? Most slept or hung out with mates, of course. However, others had.. darker pasttimes. She watched their soul, their spirit, travel to a darker place and the feeling of their distant arrival was almost shocking. Had... Cats been training with the Dark Forest under everyone's nose this entire time? Was..was this why Eveningstar was possessed, because of the power growing in the evil and giving more leeway for these dead killers to manifest in the real world?
This wasn't alright. And she- she would put a stop to it.
With a twitch of her tail as she looked to the pond, she could see four cats. Four apprentices, all young and lively, who would certainly help in this fight... Hopefully. So, with the flick of her paw through the surface to disturb it, she channeled what she could into summoning the four, in spirit of course.
