A Bit of Backstory:

After seeing how badly the fire wrecked MothClan's camp, Mantisclaw threw a wild party in an effort to live life while she still could. Things got interesting quickly, and not long after that, Mantisclaw was feeling sick. She hid it because at this point, Eveningstar had just been possessed and seemed to look down on any weakness. For various reasons, Mantisclaw wasn't happy when she did find out that she was going to be a Momtisclaw mother, and completely ignored the pregnancy for a while. She almost gave birth in the warrior den because she refused to move to the nursery. She didn't really speak about it to either of the fathers, Gossamerheart and Gustwhisker, and it's unknown whether they'll be in the litter's lives. There's a bumpy road ahead, but Mantisclaw has at least admitted that she thinks the kits are cuter outside of her.

Note 2: Since Mantisclaw calls her mother Mom, the party kits would probably call her Mom. They can call her something else if you want but I thought it would be fun to know.

Kit 4: Male. Longhair solid black colorpoint with curly fur. This kit has a lean build and a color mutation. (Claimed by LupTacco)

*Names are suggestions and can be changed or switched, but there's a loose theme of "cool", tough-sounding, or action-based names. Other suggestions include: Pouncekit, Runningkit, Crouchkit, Shredkit, Leapkit, Scratchkit, Swipekit, Archkit etc.. If you really want to call one something that doesn't fit that, you can message me and we'll work something out.

Kit number: Kit 5
Wanted name: Curlkit, Crouchkit, Pouncekit (Leaning towards Crouch)
Appearance: A lynx point with medium-length fur, that curls back in on itself and gives him a more woolly or sheep-like appearance; the darker markings of his face, or points around his nose and muzzle area, will begin to brighten up a bit to an almost snowy white; giving him a spectacled look around his mid-twenties (Periocular leucotrichia - his color mutation). He has light green eyes which will begin to look a little cloudier around this time as well.

He ironically will begin to live up to his name in apprenticehood as being more hesitant, taking more careful steps. At first he will try to pass this off as being apart of his cautious nature, but will be in fact due to him slowly losing his vision to Macular Degeneration. While not fully going blind, he will only be able to see around the fringes of his vision; a fish-eye lens effect if you will.

Personality: Starting off like any other cat, he will begin to panic when his vision begins to go, growing defensive and trying not to let on that there's anything wrong with him or his vision. He will be defensive by nature, and I can see him pushing himself until he gets himself or someone else in danger - perhaps due to the fact that his mom will remind him of 'Eveningstar's diatribe against weakness'. A sensitive soul deep down, he'll spend the majority of his youth being a gruff little ass who doesn't want to rely on others - but as he becomes an adult I can see him breaking down to his siblings and mellowing out considerably as he's forced into rely on others and admitting weakness.
(Optional) Plot ideas?: Depending on his parents and the interactions with his siblings, I'd like to see him trying to fight off being weak for the longest time; maybe due to things Mantisclaw tells him about the time around when they were born; ending in extreme denial that there's anything wrong with him. Eventually though, it is something he cannot hide. Depending on the mentor he would get, he would either learn in secret to deal with his disability or step gracefully into an early retirement; as it's not a complete blindness, and I can see him becoming a bit of a rallier inside of the camps, helping to keep the elders' trained up on things and showing them they can defend themselves still, arguing for their rights. I'd also like to see him discovering that he likes toms, and settling down with a mate whose not afraid to show affection for a broken lil' coot.

Wanted name: Strikekit
Appearance: Long haired lovely lilac lynx point male. His fur looks and feels so nice and silky. Faceclaim
Personality: He is always about strike first. He has issues with thinking before he talks or strikes/fights.
(Optional) Plot ideas?: Figured it depend on how Mantisclaw want to handle on Strikekit's issue of not being able to think before he reacts, either by what he says or if he strikes/fights in reaction to someone else. Say it depend on who his mentor is if they can teach him to think first and he may not react as much as he did as a kit, or if he doesn't learn that, then maybe his reactions without thinking first, would get worse.

Wanted name: Ramkit, Tumblekit, Swipekit (Any of these are good with me)
Appearance: A fluffy, short-furred, gray mink tom with a large, sturdy build. He will be very active, and therefore muscular as well, particularly on his front legs; this would make his front half very large when combined with his broad chest. His chest and stomach will be white, along with his chin, tail tip, and paws. The rest of him varies from a light to dark gray. He will be rather muscular and large as he grows, making him appear very intimidating.

Personality: He will be very defensive and protective of his family, specifically his mom and brothers. If his father(s) is/are in the picture, he will be protective of them as well. He holds more loyalty to his family (and friends he sees as family) than his clan, which could cause issues if one of them goes against the clan or warrior code. He is extremely caring towards them, good for being someone to talk to, and always supporting, though he will still express his disagreement when he feels it is needed. He tries to be without judgement to any cat, surprisingly being one of the first to accept a new addition to the clan, despite enjoying agitating the other clans across the border. He will also take after his mom in some ways, seeing her as a role model; he would be reckless and troublesome as a kit after hearing many stories of her, and never really growing out of the recklessness.
(Optional) Plot ideas?: I like the idea of him being confused by talk of mates before eventually realizing he is asexual, and perhaps bonding with a sibling or other cat over being “different” in this way (Sexuality) or another. Conflict with his family over breaking the code or going against the clan would be interesting as well, but that of course depends on the other cats’ own plots.
(Optional) Other?: He will collect mantises if he can find them and give them to Mantisclaw as gifts.

Wanted name: Rushkit is nice
Appearance:
He is a small tom, but has a stocky build. His broad chest let's him bulldoze though groups and seems to aid to a louder than average voice. His ears curl backwards, giving him an amusing look, wish his wide and broad shape and little curled ears.
Personality: He is a sweet little tom, but tends to use his voice a little much. He learned early that he could use his weight to win the little tussles he and his siblings would get into during kithood. This sadly also gave him a bit of an idea that he could throw his weight around and get his way, so he tries that with a lot of things. He needs to be shown that he doesn't always get his way, but likes to mix his cute looks with his size to get away with what he wants
