Eveningblaze followed his clan. He held in the middle of the pack. Mothstar was in the back, Brackenfall in the front. He worried about them both sometimes. Brackenfall being young, Mothstar being old there was a lot to think about. However MothClan was strong. They were built of fighters. He watched as cats gathered. Boy oh Boy he could not wait for his old clan to come into the clearing. He had fought hard for MistClan. The scars across his face proved that over and over again however, no one thought he would be able to recover back to his full ability as a warrior, and that was okay. He had followed Mothstar to MothClan and look at where he was now. He was a strong warrior now. As they reached the gathering place, the cats dispersed to where they were supposed to be. Eveningblaze sat towards the back, that's where he liked to be. He could watch MistClan come in, and of course be the first to leave if need be. He held his head high, body in a stoic position. He made sure to keep himself in a posture that reflected his strength, that would show them.

Mudpaw had somehow managed to weedle himself into getting to go to the gathering. The snarky apprentice had run off from his mentor not telling him where he had went. He did this often, he was a trouble maker who got away with a lot of things. He had come back that day with a mouse, he had told his mentor that he had caught it's scent. He knew he was bad at hunting so it took nearly all day to catch the darn thing...it was far from the truth but that was the excuse the tom gave. His mentor was skeptical but seemed to accept it. His eyes beamed with excitement. All these cats! He didn't hesitate to run into the mixture. Were there any MothClan apprentices around?!? He couldn't wait to prove his strength on one of them. He tried to patrol the MothClan border often as he could to see them but never got so lucky. He could always scent MothClan but never really got a good look at them. He saw bigger cats and felt slightly intimidated. Must be MothClan cat's they look strong..... He shook the feeling away before barelling into the clearing. "The name is Mudpaw!" He mewed to anyone who would listen.
