Nettlefang entered the clearing after her deputy. It was odd, having Brackenfall be the one to lead them to the gathering. Usually, it would be their leader, but today he put his Clan to shame. He wasn't to blame, he was just old. The she-cat noticed a striking gaze from the IvyClan leader. Of course, she'd heard one of their cats was killed in battle. It was wrong and against the code, Nettlefang certainly didn't approve of it, but it had been an accident.
Ospreypaw ever silently joined the gathering. He was pretty proud of himself for even going, especially with all the tension and cats. And noise... So much noise. He could hear his sister Ravenpaw screaming. Boy was he happy that he didn't have to share the nursery with her anymore. This was actually his first gathering. He positioned himself in a corner, away from the cats his age (or any cat at all) and watched as everyone was interacting socially. No way he was gonna join them. It was overstepping his boundary to join this thing already, he was not up for interaction.
Maplespring bounded into the clearing, a light smile on his face. However, Timberheart trailed behind. He was still grieving over Coppertuft, who's death hadn't struck Maple as bad as it did Timber. Maplespring took a spot near the monster's carcasses, Timber sitting down beside him. They both stayed silent, apart from Maple murmuring 'it'll be okay''s to Timber every now and then.
Cedarleap hobbled a bit ahead of Mothstar, despite being at the back of their cats. She had her concerns, and didn't doubt that his old age was getting to him. She still kept an eye on him; he was her leader, after all. When they eventually made it to the clearing, she gave him a look as if to say 'Don't do more than you need to.' then headed off to where the medicine cats usually sat. Of course, she had heard that one of Ivyclan's warriors had been killed in a border skirmish, which was unfortunate. Hopefully Larkbeat wouldn't complain about it to her.
Meteorfall stayed in the camp this time, she had four rowdy kits to take care of.

After a moment of gazing around, Shadespirit had finally spotted Rivershine and started to approach the pretty she-cat. "Hey, Rivershine!" She said in a happy tone. It was rare for her to even act slightly bright, but here she was. Sitting down next to the Ivyclan warrior, her good eye flickered over her face.
Rivershine had been absently licking her paw when Shadespirit approached her. The pretty warrior was a bit startled as her gaze flicked to the MistClan she-cat, her body jolting in surprise. It wasn't often that Rivershine was approached at a gathering. After taking a moment to look her over, though, Rivershine immediately perked up, a big, joyous smile appearing on the calico's face. "Shadespirit!" The she-cat's voice jingled with happiness as she greeted her old friend.
It felt like it had been an eternity since she'd spoken to the MistClan warrior- when Owlstar's kits were born, she and Barkfur were tasked with looking after the rascals while the leader performed her duties, and she had been forced to drop her meetings with Shadespirit. Their friendship and Rivershine's budding feelings for the younger cat had suffered as a result. At first, she would join any patrol that would go near the MistClan border in the hopes that she might eventually spot the other she-cat, though, after moons of not seeing Shadespirit's face, she'd given up.
"I'm so happy to see you," Rivershine purred, her tail twitching with delight. "I thought I might never get to see you again. How've you been? Is warrior life treating you well?"
Shadespirit had too been trying to sneak out to meet the she-cat... well, before the whole Bearstar ordeal. Now she was stuck with cats always with her, though they didn't know why. "I've been doing great!" She said with a purr, her stubby tail flickering back and forth happily. "Warrior life, well, it has it's ups and downs, but better then being an apprentice." She added with one of her crooked smiles. At least she wasn't lying... well, sorta. Who said the ups and downs didn't translate to murder of a clanmate? As long as nocat slipped anything out... well, she still had a bit of a chance.
"How have you been? I haven't seen you much at the borders." The Bengal asked, tilting her head on her side with a raspy purr.
Ravenkit lay fast asleep beside her mother, Larchflight.
Daisypaw was assigned dawn patrol and stayed home to get some rest.
Olivenose, who usually went to gatherings, decided to remain at the camp. The early bird catches the, uh... mouse?
Palestorm lay wide awake in the elder's den. She was worried about her son, Mothstar, at the gathering. He hadn't spoken to her since those rushed ceremonies... could he really be dying?
Brooksong attended the gathering, but spent a majority of the time looking for her apprentice, Starlingpaw. She had disappeared from camp, and she couldn't spot her at the gathering...
BEEBREEZE - -
The large Abyssinian she-cat made her way through the crowd of cats without stepping on anyone's paws . Her yellow eyes scanned the cats before her to find someone to sit beside. All around her, apprentices were experiencing their first gatherings, mingling among-st themselves. She smiled brightly, because they reminded her of her daughters. She couldn't spot them, but she was sure they were having some fun with their friends.
She spotted a large Ivyclan she-cat (Loonspark) sitting by herself and sat beside her. "Hello," She meowed politely. "Those apprentices seem to be having a blast," She mused, referring to the Ivyclan apprentice shouting about her first gathering. "Oh, to be an apprentice again.." Mama
SMOKEGAZE - -
Smokegaze watched as his leader pathetically strode behind the group of Mothclan cats. What was going on with him, anyways? He heard from someone that he was stressed, overwhelmed, possibly even depressed... either way, he had to snap out of it, soon. There is no way that Mothclan will show weakness to the other clans in times such as these.
BEETLEPAW - -
Beetlepaw padded along beside Wasppaw to the gathering. It wasn't their first gathering anymore, but she could feel her sister's excitement in the air. Out of all of her siblings, she was the least social and remained close to the only cats she knew well, which consisted of her family and the other medicine cats and their apprentices. However, she noticed an Ivyclan tom (Mudpaw) in a group of Mistclan apprentices from across the clearing and beckoned Wasppaw close. "You should talk to him," She whispered and pointed to him with her tail. Then, she slipped away and joined her fellow medicine cat apprentices.
BRIGHTEYES - -
It was the tabby tom's first gathering since his tail injury. He treaded past a group of cats and sat beside a familiar face, Swanfur. She was a pale she-cat from his clan, and fairly pretty. "Err, hello." He greeted her with an awkward smile. "So uh, the weather's great, isn't it? Pretty... warm." It was almost impossible for Brighteyes to have a full conversation with a she-cat without fumbling over his words or saying something idiotic.

-Stoatpaw- Stoatpaw had been near the back of the group as they tread confidently towards the gathering. This was her very first time attending the gathering, and she could not help but feel slightly apprehensive. She looked around in wonder, her dark eyes absorbing everything. Suddenly, an unfamiliar voice broke through her silent barrier. "I AM RAVENPAW!" With added intrigue, the ambitious cat strode over, her black-tipped tail curled over her back. "Hello there." She allowed the words to drip from her maw like honey.
-Heronpaw- Heronpaw came into view of the gathering, her heart aflutter. She too had never attended a gathering, but had a very different viewpoint. To her, this was a magical adventure! She would meet new cats. Perhaps even leaders! The loud voice of her sister, Ravenpaw, rung in Heronpaw's ears. Well, she is certainly going to attract attention! For a second, the brown-patched she-cat glanced at her brother, Ospreypaw, who had hidden himself in a corner. She entertained the idea of yanking him back into the fray, but at the same time, she knew that he would only be unhappy. So instead, she tread over to stand beside her sister, and the white apprentice who stood in front of her. Mama
"My horse is the greatest horse CUZ ITS NOT REALLY A HORSE AT ALL! Its more like a tortilla, On top of another tortilla Filled with gooey cheese fresh salsa too They forgot my sour cream....."
As some cat approached her, Loonsparkturned her head towards the feline. "They're all so easily excitable, as if they were still kits." The feline chuckled. "The days of being an apprentice: I thought the most stressful things were the lack of mice and dawn patrol." The warrior said with a small laugh.
"Anyways, I'm Loonspark." The black and white shecat mewed, her voice deep and proud like one of a sergeant.
Wasppaw was delighted that her sister gave her the wonderful idea of meeting this new cat, and she gave a bright smile. "Thanks, Beetlepaw!" She chirped before bouncing towards the unsuspecting Tom. "HI THERE! IM WASPPAW!" The calico shouted with a large grin.
The pure white turned her head to look around at the Ivyclan apprentices, her eyes flickering up and down them before giving a light grunt. After a moment, she turned around, her tail twitching quickly.
He's almost blown away by how loud this she-cat's voice is; his ears are ringing, his thick black fur stands on it's ends in pure shock. Crowpaw isn't sure he's met someone quite like this before, and it takes a moment for him to register everything that the other young apprentice has screamed in his face.
"..Nice.. to meet you, Ravenpaw," He lingers on nice, trying to hold back the chilling ice that's forming in his voice. "I'm Crowpaw, and I hope you haven't deafened me."

~Ravenpaw The Black she-cats eyes widened with excitement as Stoatpaw came over. BOY OH BOY NEW FRIENDS!!!! Her whiskers twitched with amusement. "IN CASE YOU DIDN'T HEAR I'M RAVENPAW!!!" By now a few warriors were chuckling listening to the excited she-cat. She was certainly making a scene. The black she-cat of course was oblivious to the fact. Her yellow eyes looked at Crowpaw, head tilted slightly to the side. What was his problem. A slight grin formed on her face as she saw her sister walk over. "HIYA HERONPAW!" She looked back at Crowpaw, a mischievous look in her eyes. She chuckled slightly before reaching over with a paw and shoving the tom's shoulder. "TAG YOU'RE IT!!!!!" She hopped over a couple of places, certainly this tom like to have fun!
Mudpaw~ Mudpaw let out a startled hiss turning around to face Wasppaw. He didn't know her too well despite being in the same clan. He was often out and about doing his own thing. He was slightly older than she, being apprenticed about a moon before her, other than that he knew nothing about her, except that Beetlepaw was her sister. He chuckled slightly, tail touching her shoulder in greeting. "Hey Wasp-paw. I was just telling these MothClanners how awesome IvyClan is." He mewed. It was certainly true. He was unaware of the conflict that had been going on between the two clans, but that was the beauty when you were an apprentice. Often times, conflict didn't effect you...unless you were the victim.
Carried Home is a Warriors roleplay forum. We feature four clans - all four of which have futures that heavily depend on what your characters do - as well as a 50 word count minimum on RP posts, and a functioning currency and shop.
While most of the action does center around our four clans, members are also permitted to make loners, rogues, and kittypets. You can also make both StarClan and Dark Forest characters.
