A long-bodied, large-eared tom with a lithe, yet built frame and a long, silky coat. Sabletail's tail is long and thick, and a touch bit on the downy side despite his age. With his long, nearly weasel-like body, he has relatively shorter legs than most others, but they are quite strong with great leaping power. The only downside is how tangled up they and his wide paws can become for him at times.
The tom-cat sports a luxurious rufescent tabby coat marked with sleek black mackerel stripes and a creamy underside that stretches from his lower face, across his belly, and to his entire tail. Even a good portion of his legs are colored the same pale hue, albeit still adorn with a few dark freckles here and there to match the ones on his cheeks. To go with Sabletail's lovely ducky appearance, he has large, dark amber eyes that glow with a humorous warmth through grin-tightened slits. And from wide and genuine to cheeky and a bit jeering, he always seems to have a smile on his face.
Likely one of the merriest cats one could meet, Sabletail is a genuinely warm-hearted and fatherly individual who finds great joy in all the little things in life. Of these, other cats are his favorite. There isn't much that Sabletail loves more than socializing with his family and friends, clanmates, and strangers alike- he is easy to get along with, so he has developed the uncanny ability to carry a conversation with just about anyone. He lives for interacting with others and can be sent into a depressed lull when deprived of attention for too long. He is wildly determined and driven by the goals of his own and his clanmate. Sabletail is one to chase down his desires to the end of the world and giving up is not an option for this cat who so fool-hardily pursues anything he sets his mind to, often to the point of surpassing his own limits and leaving him worse for wear. Still, it makes for a doubled-edged idol for the younger generations.
Jokes are Sabletail's first language, followed by emotions and finally feline. Being quite the 'dad,' it goes without saying that the cat is quite funny- or at least thinks himself to be so. Working almost in tandem with his attitude, he is also quite the clumsy klutz, always tripping over his paws and hurting himself. However, his comical mannerisms sometimes act more as a coping mechanism than it is a genuine attempt to be humorous. When he stresses out, he is one to try making the air lighter and seem as if he has everything under control, even when he clearly doesn't. The tom is an inventive cat and what Sabletail lacks in fighting prowess and grace, he makes up for in creative ability with his capacity to find out-of-the-box solutions to problems that other may not have thought about. He thinks on his feet and it's often quite inspiring to watch the tom as the gears turn in his head, effectively transforming him from a cheery jokester to a serious warrior in a matter of moments. As such, it isn't uncommon to see Sabletail as one who speaks without a seriously and without sugarcoating things when serious. And because of such a fact, it is well known that despite his jokes, he fully sincere in everything he says. Often times, things are delivered in a deadpan way or handled very bluntly if of great importance, as to separate them from his more laxed joking demeanor.
As deputy and clan-bred warrior of Mistclan, Sabletail has the utmost loyalty and respect for his clan. Everything about it trumps any personal desires in Sabletail's mind as his family and friends in Mistclan take priority. And as Bearstar' right-hand cat, Sabletail is tasked in making sure his clanmates share the same sentiments. That isn't to say that he preaches to his family and friends- rather, he tries to inspired his clanmates by setting the best possible examples for those around him. This is most honestly reflected in his loyalty to his clan despite having his precious kits in others.
Sabletail had been born in a small litter of two to a couple of Mistclan warriors- Rockpelt, a stony grey and white tom well known for his strength despite his lithe frame, and Tabbytree, a quite small ruddy tabby with dark eyes who had the uncanny ability to virtually disappear into whatever territory she stepped paw into. The two had held a professional relationship throughout their early lives, with Rockpelt having acted as Tabbytree's own mentor. However, throughout their time together, feelings had been allowed to grow. Both were dedicated to their purpose as warrior so they had refrained from settling down to start a family until the point where Tabbytree had faced an accident during a hunt which left one of her legs crumpled and immobile. Retired from her warrior duties, the pair finally decided to have their kits.
The couple’s litter had been small, but strong as two tabby kittens had been brought into the world- a dark striped tabby that closely resembled his mother and a pale silver and white spotted tabby that was clearly a product of Rockpelt. Sablekit and Puddlekit had been the names given to the kits and between the care of Tabbytree, Rockpelt, and the rest of Mistclan's queens, the kits grew up rapidly into strong and healthy warriors.
Despite the chipper, easy-going mood Sabletail always seemed to don, he was definitely a motivated cat devoted to his cause as warrior. He always had the well fare of his family and friends on his mind and strived to become the most dependable cat for Mistclan. His sister was the same, albeit a fair bit more serious and stoic in nature. Together, they made quite the team despite how their personalities often foiled each other. This, however, ceased when Puddlespots became the mate of a well-respected older warrior by the name of Trickletail, and from that point, nearly all communications with Sabletail's sister ceased.
He had watched complacently from afar as his sister, surprising to him, settled down to have Trickletail's kits; three beautiful daughters whom even looked up to Sabletail despite the distance between his sister and himself. It broke his heart to know his only littermate had perished when she had been struck down unfairly during a border skirmish, and made Sabletail feel immense guilt at first for being unable to help his sister. However, after taking some time to heal, he no longer felt it was his place to protect Puddlespots, who had been such a determined warrior. She would've looked down on him for such. Instead, he applied himself to defending and caring for those in his clan who he could help in their times of need.
It was such dedication to his clanmates which saved his heart when Shinepaw and her father had, too, died alongside each other when they pair had fallen into a deep fissure. From his heartache and dogged loyalty to uphold the well being of Mistclan, Sabletail's heart seemed to grow even stronger and because of such development, it was no wonder Bearstar chose him to act as her deputy. Sporting his new role and duties with pride, he now spends his days trying his best to improve the lives of his clanmates while maintaining the task of role model for his nieces and Mistclan's youth alike.

[RP from PokéPark on Pokefarm - Babayaga the Delphox]
Honey gold eyes leered in the darkness of the rain which was now much stronger than the former sprinkle of droplets it had evolved from. A faint hiss sounded against the pattering of the shower overhead as the droplets evaporated off the plume of fur that the fox Pokemon donned. Babayaga's upper lip curled as a growl escaped her lungs, flattening her large ears to the best of her ability. With her thick tail lashing uneasily, the slender Delphox shrank back further into the underground, which seemed to grow tighter around her the further she moved. In her current size- even being one of the smaller creatures in the breed- was still much more problematic when it came to hiding. So easy it had been to shy away into a tangle of dense vegetation to avoid the rain as a Fennekin- even a Braixen. But now Baba seemed to be the brunt of nature's frustrations as the falling droplets broke through the barrier that the dark canopy of foresty trees had once held in strength before the thin membranes of the leaves grew heavy and limp with water.
Sizzling. Sizzling was not good. It proved too loud of a sound, even for the rain-filled air that gave a soft splatter with every collision between the draining sky and accepting earth. It would only take one Pokemon with the keenest of hearing to pinpoint the sizzle- even higher chances that they would catch sight of the steam- and Baba was doomed. There was hardly a chance she could win a battle on a sunny day, let alone a heavily rainy one. The dangerous threat of being found was too much for the frantic creature to take and the towering Fox Pokemon tore off into a run on all four- appearing quite awkward albeit, but faster than she would've got it travelling upright on her hind legs. She had to get out of this drizzly wood and as she fled, a trail of steam followed more slowly in pursuit as it floated from her hissing pelt. It didn't take long for the Fire-Type to come across a cavern, and though it smelled of foreign scents that made her skin crawl with paranoia, the thought of remaining out in the cold wetness of the outside world when she was already becoming sopping wet was more than enough to send her packing into the cave without a hint of hesitation.
Upon entering the stony mouth of the landscape, Baba had not an inkling as to where she was, what else was in inside with her, and how well she would fare before the weather let up. In an attempt to quash any feelings of terror or regret for entering the unusual cavern, the scrawny Delphox elicited a thin streak of flame from her honey-toned muzzle and grinned a bit at the sound of loud fizzling as the jet of fire evaporated what water she trailed in from the stone floor and charred a small portion of the area. And while the spot was still hot with embers, the tall fox creature hurriedly hunkered down and curled into as tight of a ball as she could ever get. The sudden warmth was enticing and drew a purr from deep within her throat, though the feeling was short-lived as the rest of her damp hide smothered out the lasting little lives of heat. But at least she could dry there in peace. ”Hopefully…”
Carried Home is a Warriors roleplay forum. We feature four clans - all four of which have futures that heavily depend on what your characters do - as well as a 50 word count minimum on RP posts, and a functioning currency and shop.
While most of the action does center around our four clans, members are also permitted to make loners, rogues, and kittypets. You can also make both StarClan and Dark Forest characters.
