breathes deeply
OKAY!
So Saltweed of Mistclan has finally had her little legacy babies, one of which I've decided to put up for adoption since I really don't need to be so greedy and keep all the kitties to myself. Thus, Thistlekit will be up for adoption. However, a little information needs to be understood about her before anyone can adopt her.
Saltweed is a warrior who takes her job very seriously. There is no higher purpose for her. Romance and love do not really matter to her, carrying on her lineage and family legacy throughout Mistclan does. However, she will learn to understand platonic, maternal love thanks to Foxkit and Thistlekit.

She had her kits with Troutfang, but only because she respected him as a warrior and believed he would have strong offspring. It was handled in a very professional way, with Troutfang no longer interacting with Saltweed once she conceived. He will not be involved in Foxkit or Thistlekit's upbringing or lives overall.
Saltweed will be a very hands-on parent, taking over as a sort of early mentor figure for the brother and sister. She will be a stern sort of soothing; she will not be the kind to coddle or coo at her babies, but will protect them tooth and nail and act as a kind of helicopter parent. She'll treat them with great respect from birth as if they were already warriors (it wouldn't be surprising if they grew to be a bit pompous.) No one besides maybe the Medicine Cat will have much say in the kits' early upbringing as Saltweed will be very strict in her kits' teachings. Salt will be very blunt and direct, and won't sugarcoat anything she tells her kits, thus she won't stand for it if anyone else does. Foxkit and Thistlekit will be expected to act respectfully, and it will be expected her her babies will be treated in the same manner by anyone else. "Or else you have no business talking to my kits, you drawl dirt-for-brains!!"
Now, on to the star of the thread; Thistlekit!!
• Kitten #2 - Female - "Thistlekit"
[Named after the spiny, thorny plants; Saltweed decided to give her kits strong names.]
Rolled Appearance - Shorthaired lilac spotted rosetted tabby with up to 50% white. This kit has a visible disability.
Thistlekit is a short to medium-furred cat with patches of denser fur like her mother. Similarly to Saltweed, she'll have a lithe, yet compact build and semi-short legs (a trait that they share with their uncle/great uncle Sabletail). She has silvery rosettes against her lilac pelt that often glint oddly in direct sunlight and sharp amber eyes like her father. She has dark ears and a little beauty mark beneath her right eye, and her left hind leg is fairly deformed (the bones appearing almost as if they have folded over themselves in a few places) and incapable of holding her weight. It'll force her to crawl early on, but with Saltweed's early training, Thistlekit will likely be able to move a fair bit better as she grows despite it. However, it is still a wonder if she'll ever become a warrior because of it.
Her personality traits may be as wide and varied as you'd like, but there are still a few traits that I would like her to have, even if only as a kit. Thistlekit will be disciplined and a fair bit high-and-mighty because of her upbringing. She may also have the inklings of bitterness because of her legs, though the severity of this is up to you. She won't have the closest connection with her brother, Foxkit, as he is standoffish on his own and Thistlekit may be a bit spiteful towards him because of the use of of his legs. Please feel free to adapt her however else you'd like!!

This will not be first come, first serve. Because I plan to do a lot of plotting with her and her family members, I may be a little picky with her. At least I'll be looking for a regularly active member.
