High Rank Audition--MistClan Medicine Cat Apprentice

Applications for the role of Mistclan medicine cat apprentice are now open. Please read all the information and reply to this post with your form if you wish to reply.

The medicine cat apprentice will be picked by Mistclan's current medicine cat, who is written by Meow .

Requirements
 

+ You must be active

+ You must not have broken any rules in the past three months

+ You must be willing to be medicine cat should your current medicine cat die

+ You must understand that if you ever become inactive, you will be removed from the role

+ Your cat must be over 4 moons old. If they are not yet 6 moons, they will become medicine cat apprentice when they reach that age

You may make a new character to apply for the role with, but understand that you may not get the role and you will have to write the character as a normal apprentice/warrior.

Your cat does not have to be a kit or apprentice to apply for this role. Older cats can also apply.

Please make sure you have read all the information on the Information board before applying.

All members may apply as long as they meet the requirements. This includes brand new members. As long as you meet the requirements and are seen posting active IC content, you have a chance at gaining the role.

You may apply with more than one character. Please use separate forms for each character.

Character Name: Daisypetals

Strengths: (Three minimum) Daisypetals is a very kind cat, who just wants to be helpful in whatever way he can. His short experience as a father has made him very gentle and caring, so he would be able to be a comfort to sick and injured kittens. 
Weaknesses: (Three minimum) Clumsy, Awkward, Easily spooked-
Why?: He should be medicine cat apprentice because he just really wants to do something good. He was a kitty pet for the main portion of his life, and his fluffy and short physique does not lend well to hunting or fighting. Plus, he has already shown that he has the ability to work with herbs, as he has helped Frostfall in sorting herbs. He remembers the look and scent of a decent amount of herbs already because his former home had an herb garden. After the death of his mate, Rosetta, and his daughters, Ash and Fern, he has been desperate for a new purpose.

Character Name: Littlepaw

Strengths: Littlepaw's three strengths is for one, her ability to put aside personal feelings aside to care for others, two she can be caring when needed, and three she can be reserved talkative wise, but that doesn't mean she won't hesitate to chatter.
Weaknesses: However, her three weaknesses are how she can be cold when delivering news, not a very kind hearted she-cat most of the time, and speaks the blunt truth
Why?: Littlepaw would be a great medicine cat apprentice, as she is mostly hardworking to perfect what shes bad at. She can put aside personal feelings and emotions to heal and mend the weak, and to check up on the strong. After a bit of studying herbs she would be able to distinguish them apart, as no cat is really perfect at it at first.

Strengths:
maturity – sedgepaw is very mature for her age and has found herself being more interested in serious issues in the clan over the usual playful chatter of most young cats ever since she was a kit. she acts a lot older than her age and is more focused on what is to come in her future life ad how to prepare for it, rather than dwindling on whatever may be happening in the present. she is well disciplined and knows what she should and shouldn’t do despite being very young.
intelligence – sedgepaw is a smart young cat and a fast learner so she would likely pick up herbal knowledge easily. she is also eager to learn, although she doesn’t show this all the time. usually, she prefers to teach herself, but wouldn’t be opposed to being taught by someone else so long as their views were similar.
care – sedgepaw is very caring of others although she may not express it very well. she has learned this from coming from a larger litter of kits and feeling the need to look after all her littermates. she strives to help others whatever it takes.
leadership – sedgepaw is often one to stand up as a leader-like figure when in a group with the intention of keeping things calm and making sure nothing happens to anyone in the group. she’s good at keeping a level head and remaining unbiased which helps her keep group situations steady and would be an advantage in the case of crisis.
Weaknesses:
expression/emotion – sedgepaw has grown up feeling as if she must constantly be there for her littermates as a guidance or counsellor figure, but often feels like she has no one to share her own troubles with or go to for advice, so she bottles up her emotions and is often straight faced, usually seeming either neutral or simply bored on the outside.
amusement – sedgepaw is completely focused on her work and role in the clan, which of course can be seen as a good thing, but it often takes a toll on her. although she does this as a coping mechanism, it may cause others discomfort especially young kits. she often finds that she gets little amusement because of her focus on work as she finds herself so busy that she makes no time for herself to relax or have fun.
strictness/sternness – usually, being strict or stern is seen as a good thing, but sedgepaw takes this to the extremes. she has little to no tolerance for bad behaviour and is fast to punish those doing wrong whether they be simply misbehaving or breaking the code. this could make her seem rather boring to others as she seems to take no risks and generally lives her life as safely as possible.
expectations – because sedgepaw feels the need to act professional at al times, she sets expectations of herself way too high, sometimes to an unachievable level. this makes it hard for her to please herself or be proud of herself as she tends to feel that nothing she ever does will be good enough- this is also partially because she feels as if it’s easier for her to associate with older cats so tends to compare herself to the more skilled and experienced. this often results in her becoming stressed when she can’t reach these unachievable goals that she’s always setting for herself.

Why?: sedgepaw has always had a passion for helping and taking care of other, something that stemmed from her kithood living closely with a slightly more troublesome than average family. she has always felt like she needs to stay professional and grow up faster than she should due to the fact that she views herself as more of a third parent to her littermates than a sibling. her need to stay professional leads her to setting goals she cannot achieve and often feeling like she will never be good enough at anything (although she hides this). but being chosen as medicine cat apprentice would be something for her to be proud of as it’s a name that is rarely given out, so being chosen would mean she stood out for something. it would likely make her life a little less stressful (in the case that they’re not being overloaded with sick and injured cats) as she would only have one cat in the clan to compare her skills with, rather than pretty much the entire clan. she also loves to educate herself, so learning about the different herbs and plants would be an enjoyable experience for her.

Weaknesses: (Three minimum) Introverted, cold (sometimes to unfamiliar cats), untrusting (she doesn't trust others easily)
Why?: (Why should your cat be medicine cat apprentice? What do they have to offer the clan? Is anything in their history relevant? Etc.) Brindlepaw has always wanted to help others and save their lives as not to put them through what she had to go through with her family, and wants others to be happier than she was. She has a great memory for herbs and their uses, and doesn't enjoy the life of fighting battles and killing.
