Feathery dark blue with faint silver and amber eyes
Smells oddly fragrant of radish and black-eyed susans
Silly little psychic type
A svelte, silken-furred tom with a feathery texture to his pelt. Carrotkit's bbody is very similar to his mother's in shape, but his frame does sport a subtle strength from his father's side with larger than average paws and a sturdy build despite his litheness. Longer tufts of fur adorn his head and cheeks as they do his mother which help to give his appearance a bit of an unruly look, but his large and soulful eyes break away from his look of havoc; these instead always glitter with a warm innocence. He has a long tail, rippling tail like both of his parents, but it is more similar to Sabletail's namesake than Bellfeather's.
Carrotkit sports Bellfeather's trademark blue coloration with faint silvery notes dispersed throughout his pelt in subtle flocking, but appears a bit deeper in hue. He has a rich dark blue pelt that would normally appear solid if it weren't for the direct sunlight which occasionally gives off a glimpse of barely visible dark stripes interwoven in his body, likely a detail pulled from his father, as well as a light spray of freckles on his cheeks. His belly is a little paler, but otherwise he and his brother, Susankit, are practically identical. Carrotkit has a large pair of amber eyes colored like sunlit sap.
And in similar fashion to both his mother and brother, Carrotkit sports various flowers woven into his long fur, albeit more neatly than Bellfeather's gnarled dreadlock. Most are only worn for a day or so with the exception of the large yellow and black blossom he wears near the back of his head in sort of a little ponytail; Carrotkit is overly fond his brother and as such insists on always wearing a Black-Eyed Susan about him. This often ends up with some cats actually mistaking him for Susankit.
Carrotkit is a beaming ray of sunshine; radiating a bright, charismatic aura has allowed him the ease of getting along with most cats. He has a hard time finding anyone who truly dislikes him and more often than not, he can elicit smiles from those who he spends time with. It's almost as if his happiness and good vibes are infectious. And although not quite so boisterous as his brother, Carrotkit is a fair peppy cat with a great zeal for being active and interactive. He is always on the move, either tagging along with Susankit on an adventure or guiding his brother and friends through play dates of his own; the two are often very good about taking turns with the reins, though Carrotkit would always admit that Susankit's games are more fun. Instead, Carrotkit focuses more on games featuring intellect over guts. Carrotkit is very imaginative and that often reflects in his behavior, such as choosing to cloud-gaze over wrestling or to play brain teasers instead of testing his luck to sneak out of camp. He easily finds himself lost in day dreams or his own thoughts, making it excellent for him that Susankit is such a strong tether to reality; Susankit grounds him.
This isn't to say that Carrotkit has not drive to explore, he simply wishes to move at his own pace than at other kits' breakneck speed. Carrotkit is a very curious cat and wishes to understand the world around him, a value that Bellfeather likely helped to cultivate. Carrotkit came easily wind up exploring only a third of a space that others his age traverse, but instead of covering more ground, he learns all everything there is to find out about in his little portion. It's quite quality over quantity for the young tom. Because of such a wayward way of thinking and such a trait being groomed by his mother, Carrotkit has developed into quite the quirky cat. Many things are peculiar about him, as well as his brother. For one, sharp sounds make Carrotkit's teeth itch like no tomorrow, and thus he has formed a dislike for bird calls and cricket chirps when they are close by. He also like to hop in puddles; a game that Bellfeather had shown he and his brother early on in their lives. Because of this, Carrotkit has a dream to learn how to swim, though he is sure his father, Eveningblaze, wouldn't quite approve on the grounds of such a trait being a 'Mistclan thing.' Still, a cat can dream. While often seen more as great foresight, Carrotkit is also a bit of a clairvoyant. Instinctively, he has a great sense of what's to come, be it by what a scent makes him think about to how a day makes him feel. Similarly to other cats, Carrotkit is empathetic to situational futures, though it is usually short-sighted and insignificant.
Carrotkit, as bubbly and open-hearted as he is, is a very emotional cat. He wears his heart on his sleeve and it openly bleeds for others. He's the kind of cat to cry over another cat's woes after only hearing a rumor of it; it does not take proof or the like to convince him. Carrotkit takes things with emotional merits at face value and often is caught praying to Starclan to save so and so or to bless this cat, or guide that cat. He's moved to tears over even the most trivial of things, like a moth with a torn wing, because of the deep appreciation he has for the world around him. Some may think of him as a cry baby, but Bellfeather has taught him that his emotions are a powerful thing and he should be proud of them; as such, Carrotkit openly weeps, unabashed, for the whole clan to see. To go with this, Carrotkit is a pretty sappy cat for a tom. He's sentimental, romantic, and fully heartfelt when it comes to anything he does. As such, it is very much a bonding experience for him and his brother to handle together, as they are both so intertwined with their feelings and lives and because of Susankit's fragile heart, Carrotkit often comes off as a fool when he jumps to help heal his brother. Susankit's pain, he feels, is his pain as well.
Carrotkit has a very strong connection with his brother, and whole some only think of it as familial love, their relationship, in fact, transcends that. Susankit and Carrotkit share an emphatic link. Capable to sharing their emotions without having to say anything, it's almost, to them, that they can actually feel each others' feelings. Thus, the two have grown up to believe that they are psychic towards one another, capable of reading each others minds and often try to finish each others' sentences. They are, however, not capable of this, and instead of forming a coherent thought, the two end up babbling randomly which further lends to the confusion most cats feel when they are around the pair of brothers together. However, they know what the other means, so in the end, they care very little what others think of their abilities. They live their own truth. Because of this, it is a little easier to interact with one without the other around, but due to their closeness as brothers, it would likely be very lonely for one to be without the others and difficult to form fully functioning relationships with others because of their practically inseparably link.
Carrokit was the second-born son to a surprise litter between Bellfeather, a gentle and free-spirited blue warrior of Mothclan, and Sabletail, the dark tabby deputy of Mistclan. The two had happened upon each other by accident along the border between the two territories, lured and enraptured by the floaty Silver Vine spores that took Mistclan by the nose. Lost admist the drug and their need for comfort during the dark times of the clans, the two ended up in a wild embrace before going their separate ways, each one completely forgetting about the encounter. It wasn't until after a skirmish with the rogue group of radicals that Bellfeather learned of a surprise pregnancy and jokingly believed that Starclan had blessed her with the earth's children.
Mothclan had caught wind of Bellfeather's litter of two and celebrated her two blue sons, both with odd names: Susankit and Carrotkit. What they did not know of was that there were in fact three kits born on the night of her kitting. Past the hours of light, only Bellfeather and Cedarleap knew of the tiny tabby she-cat that was the third, stillborn liekly as a result of the bruising and injuries she received during her fight. Carrotkit and his brother, alongside everyone else in the clan, know nothing of Primkit, but perhaps because of her spirit being up in Starclan, the little she-cat has granted her brothers the gift of shared emotion, a little tether to the pair in the hopes of getting to share at least their feelings.
Happily raised in a busy Nursery with a doting, supportive mother in Bellfeather as well as the rugged, but warm-hearted Eveningblaze who the boys believe to be their father, Carrotkit has much to keep him busy throughout the moons spent waiting to be come a warrior. Not that he wants to fight or hunt really; he simply just wants to make his parents proud.
[RP from PokéPark on Pokefarm - Babayaga the Delphox]
Honey gold eyes leered in the darkness of the rain which was now much stronger than the former sprinkle of droplets it had evolved from. A faint hiss sounded against the pattering of the shower overhead as the droplets evaporated off the plume of fur that the fox Pokemon donned. Babayaga's upper lip curled as a growl escaped her lungs, flattening her large ears to the best of her ability. With her thick tail lashing uneasily, the slender Delphox shrank back further into the underground, which seemed to grow tighter around her the further she moved. In her current size- even being one of the smaller creatures in the breed- was still much more problematic when it came to hiding. So easy it had been to shy away into a tangle of dense vegetation to avoid the rain as a Fennekin- even a Braixen. But now Baba seemed to be the brunt of nature's frustrations as the falling droplets broke through the barrier that the dark canopy of foresty trees had once held in strength before the thin membranes of the leaves grew heavy and limp with water.
Sizzling. Sizzling was not good. It proved too loud of a sound, even for the rain-filled air that gave a soft splatter with every collision between the draining sky and accepting earth. It would only take one Pokemon with the keenest of hearing to pinpoint the sizzle- even higher chances that they would catch sight of the steam- and Baba was doomed. There was hardly a chance she could win a battle on a sunny day, let alone a heavily rainy one. The dangerous threat of being found was too much for the frantic creature to take and the towering Fox Pokemon tore off into a run on all four- appearing quite awkward albeit, but faster than she would've got it travelling upright on her hind legs. She had to get out of this drizzly wood and as she fled, a trail of steam followed more slowly in pursuit as it floated from her hissing pelt. It didn't take long for the Fire-Type to come across a cavern, and though it smelled of foreign scents that made her skin crawl with paranoia, the thought of remaining out in the cold wetness of the outside world when she was already becoming sopping wet was more than enough to send her packing into the cave without a hint of hesitation.
Upon entering the stony mouth of the landscape, Baba had not an inkling as to where she was, what else was in inside with her, and how well she would fare before the weather let up. In an attempt to quash any feelings of terror or regret for entering the unusual cavern, the scrawny Delphox elicited a thin streak of flame from her honey-toned muzzle and grinned a bit at the sound of loud fizzling as the jet of fire evaporated what water she trailed in from the stone floor and charred a small portion of the area. And while the spot was still hot with embers, the tall fox creature hurriedly hunkered down and curled into as tight of a ball as she could ever get. The sudden warmth was enticing and drew a purr from deep within her throat, though the feeling was short-lived as the rest of her damp hide smothered out the lasting little lives of heat. But at least she could dry there in peace. ”Hopefully…”
