Black is a classic silver tabby with dark stripes that tear across his toned body. These stripes swirl around white spots located on his shoulder and backs and line his front feet like socks. Unlike the slim build of many of the other tribe cats, he is strong and stocky, which has him sometimes questioning his origins. He is at least a few good inches taller than the others. Black sports facial scars from small scuffs in the past and his ears are nicked as well. His expression, by default, is resting bitch face.
Black is an observant tom; he’s much more quiet than the others and usually only speaks when he has to. He holds strong morals and traditional tribe beliefs that are rarely broken. He doesn’t care about what other cats think of him and only pays attention to the needs of Rootclan. He can be a bit too self-sacrificial at times, but he always believes there’s a good cause behind it.
He’s quick to get annoyed but is usually good at holding his emotions in; it might escape as a quick lash of his tail at times. Black is a very serious cat with a low tolerance policy for silly mistakes. Besides this flaw, Black is incredible at completing his tasks and staying focused on the subject at hand. He is reliable, trustworthy, and definitely a strong foundation for any cat to lean on.
To those who are lucky to see the more casual side of him, his sense of humor is pretty dry and he’s extremely fond of kits. Sometimes to calm himself down after a stressful day, he can be found in the nursery helping the queens groom their kits.
Black was born to a pair of loving parents, Peak That Touches Sky and Shrike Sitting On Cloud, who instilled strong values of discipline and strength, which he still carries today. He's a bit awkward when it comes to making friends due to his stiff personality, so he drifted through his kit-hood and to-be with very little company; this lead him to focus on his duty to the tribe more than his social life.
He looks up to Night That Passes Slowly as a role model. Their traditionalist personalities meshed together seamlessly when Night was his mentor.
During the tribe evacuation from their old territory, Black befriended a kit named Bear that Catches Fish. He carried her to their new home and was shortly named her mentor as the tribe transitioned to a clan. They bonded over their mutual dislike for clan tradition.
He was named deputy to Screechstar shortly after the previous deputy had gone missing. Blackmoon takes his role seriously and has thrown 100% of himself into clan politics. He enjoys early morning hunts by himself in the newly established Rootclan territory and has become much more social recently.
Blackmoon and Bearpaw were separated when the Rootclan camp was infested by rats, and he only was able to find her two moons later in a twoleg alley. He blames himself for her separation and the mental grief it brought her. During a ceremony, he was the one to give Bearpaw her warrior name, Bearcatcher.
Screechstar's unidentifiable illness left Blackmoon to be appointed leader to Rootclan, much to his reluctance, and also in the middle of a war against Mothclan.
Carried Home is a Warriors roleplay forum. We feature four clans - all four of which have futures that heavily depend on what your characters do - as well as a 50 word count minimum on RP posts, and a functioning currency and shop.
While most of the action does center around our four clans, members are also permitted to make loners, rogues, and kittypets. You can also make both StarClan and Dark Forest characters.
