Daisypetals padded into the mines, his small paws seeming to echo in the silence. He was the first to arrive, which left him, a small puffball of inexperienced fuzz, alone in the dark. Well, I guess I better just wait for the others... So, he sat there, and began to think. When the others got there, and they shared tongues with StarClan, what would his clan’s ancestors think of him? Would they happily welcome him, despite his kittypet past, and his falure as a warrior? And...who would he see in StarClan? He had no clan blood, but was it possible that StarClan would have let Rose, Ash, and Fern, his former mate and kits, into starClan? Silvermiat had said he would see them... but how did she know? How did anyone know?
"My horse is the greatest horse CUZ ITS NOT REALLY A HORSE AT ALL! Its more like a tortilla, On top of another tortilla Filled with gooey cheese fresh salsa too They forgot my sour cream....."
The moon above was nearly at it’s peak. It made the already frosty grass shimmer under it’s light. Cedarleap prayed that her dreams in Starclan would be pleasant ones rather than some ominous omen or prophecy with the recent events that had occurred.
She trudged down the tunnel, her whiskers and memory the only thing guiding her to the Moonstone.
When she arrived, she was surprised to see Frostfall’s apprentice, Daisypetals, the first that had arrived. She nodded to him in greeting, “Hello, Daisypetals.” Cedarleap wasn’t sure where she stood on a kittypet being a medicine cat. She guessed she wasn’t exactly supportive of the idea. The white-spotted she-cat took a spot on the opposite side of the stone.
How would a kittypet even interact with their warrior ancestors? She twitched her whiskers, not allowing herself to dwell on it any longer. This was a night of peace to meet with their ancestors, not a night to decide if she liked Daisypetals or not.

Lilydawn hadn't been this far out of camp before, nor had she really ever met the other medicine cats cats. Beetleshade, her mentor, helped the feline stumble along until they reached the caves. A burst of thrill went through her, and not thinking of the soreness in her paws or the sticks and dirt in her pelt, she took off into the mines.
It was dark and the surface was hard as she stumbled along with her paws swatting the air aimlessly, not spotting what they called the moonstone yet. However, once the spot got close, the apprentice gave a chirping noise. Then, she tripped and went flying into the lit area, making a pretty odd first impression.
To the others, she may have looked odd with her dirty and ungroomed pelt, sticks and leaves in her fur, though Ivyclan knew that to be her usual appearance. Trying to get up, she tripped once again before getting to her paws and tripping once more.
Frostfall tried to hide her labored breathing as she brushed through the tunnels leading to the Moonstone's chambers, irritated with the heaviness of her pregnant belly. Unlike a warrior, she couldn't relax in the days before giving birth- no matter how annoying or painful the journey to the moonstone was, she had to act like nothing was wrong.
Sometimes, she really didn't like being a medicine cat.
Frostfall let out an impatient growl as she briefly bumped into an unfamiliar she-cat clumsily stumbling through the darkness, though she bit her tongue as they moved along. Daisypetals... ugh, Daisypetals. He was waiting for her. She wondered if the tom even believed in StarClan, since he'd lived outside the clans for a long while. Frostfall had never asked him if he believed... she'd just seen some potential as a medicine cat in him.
Well, she guessed she'd find out soon.
When they finally reached the Moonstone, Frostfall took her place next to her apprentice, plopping down with a relieved huff. "I hope you're ready for this, Daisy," Frostfall sighed, crouching down to let her heavy belly rest on the cold, stony ground. "Your life'll never be the same once you've met with StarClan. You'll be a real medicine cat apprentice."
Carried Home is a Warriors roleplay forum. We feature four clans - all four of which have futures that heavily depend on what your characters do - as well as a 50 word count minimum on RP posts, and a functioning currency and shop.
While most of the action does center around our four clans, members are also permitted to make loners, rogues, and kittypets. You can also make both StarClan and Dark Forest characters.
