New Cat List Format? Please Vote!

Hello! So we've been discussing in staff the possibility of formatting the cat list a little differently, and I would like to offer the final decision on it up to the forum in general.

The options are:

• The current format. Go to the cat list thread to see it. Lists name, age, and mentor/apprentice if there is one. The name links to the bio.
• The new format. Look at the next reply to see it. Lists everything the current format does, but also provides a quick description of the cat and who the rper is. A separate link to the bio.

Obviously the possible new format offers more information, but I could understand people thinking that it is cluttered.

So, please vote! The poll will close on the 8th

Also, feel free to reply to this thread with comments/suggestions.

EDIT: Also just fyi, in the real thing the @ rper wouldn't have the space between them, so would link to whoever the rper is

Rookstar

The son of Blackheart, Rookstar completely absorbed his father's sense of duty to his clan. After all, if a cat cannot be loyal to his clan, then how can he be trusted to be loyal to anything other than himself?

A noble warrior, this tom would never unjustly hurt another, nor would he leave a kit in need or kill without reason. He follows StarClan without question - trusting them to guide his path.

Rookstar strives to impress. He wants approval for everybody - especially his father (who he idolises) and his leader. When it comes down to it, he will do anything to impress - even if it is possibly a little morally dubious, providing that it brings about the greater good.

He has always been ambitious. Since he was a kit, he has been telling Owlstar that he would be leader one day. Apparently now he actually has a shot at it.

Unfortunately, while he was the deputy of IvyClan, Rookstar was hit in the head by a large ball of hail. Since then, he has been having constant headaches and has made some rather rash decisions...

Creeksong

A cat of few words, he is hardly talkative and speaks primarily in grunts-a great dislike of small talk so deeply ingrained in him that he actively avoids it whenever he can.

Creeksong was given such a soft suffix in an attempt to lighten his spirits and mood after a trying apprenticeship, but he remains gruff and intolerable of the presence of others well into his adulthood.

Eventually he became more willing to socialize with his clan, but there is a perpetual air of awkwardness whenever he does.

While not easy to temper, given he always seems to be in a bad mood, Creeksong has little patience for silliness and trivialities and puts the good of the clan above all else.

Whether the clan likes it or not.

Medicine Cat

Lilydawn

Lilydawn is a kind and thoughtful she-cat, who puts others in front of her and rather let her emotions hide then make someone else sad. It's rare to see her frowning or sad, and she's usually pretty happy about everything. She's on the path to become a medicine cat, and despite her disabilities, the feline is fearless and determined. Formerly a warrior, she had to work around her bad walking skills and instead did duties usually overlooked, from the safety of the camp.

Lilydawn, however, after suddenly losing her dear leader and former mentor Owlstar, and suddenly her other mentor, Beetleshade, along with her mother disowning her and going blind, Lilydawn has hardened quite a bit. She's against cross clan relationships, unless justified, and hates parents who don't care for their offspring or mate. However much she'd like to refuse care, she knows it would only end in chaos and usually stays quiet about it. She isn't a huge fan of kits, and if the older ones or even apprentices land in her den for any stupid reason, they better be ready to haul it out of there once she finishes.

Though, despite all of these hardships and things that would deter others from chasing (or, wobbling), after their dreams, only pushes Lilydawn farther. She's not a force to be messed with, and refuses to buckle to the stress of life.
