His yelp wasn't exactly answered in the proper way - it didn't get him warmer, but in lifting his head he smelled something...wonderful. Ramkit mewled again, but is caused him to come forward and crawl towards the smell, letting his nose lead him.
Splayed out somewhat, he eventually came to the bodies of his brothers and sisters - not that he knew what or who they actually were. He pushed his way forward - focused on the wonderful scent, until he butted up against his mother and latched on.
Ah...that was better.
