Character Name: Blackmoon Link to Character Profile:Bio
Strengths: - Extreme Loyalty to his clan: Blackmoon is always thinking about the welfare of his clan-mates. He shows little hesitation in doing what is right, even if he does not agree with it personally. He is skilled at viewing problems from an objective point of view and keeping himself as a neutral party, simply weighing the pros and cons. - Reliable when given a task: When given an assignment, he will always complete it. He’s an efficient worker and focused on the task at hand. Everything is business and he treats it as such. He is not shy to ask for help if he needs it and is capable of working in a team without taking over the assignment. Blackmoon would rather work by himself but will not isolate himself. - Strong Morals: Blackmoon has an internal code he lives by and will not ever break it. He’s very strict with himself. For example, all of his fights are fair and he would never hurt a cat that is already knocked out or pleading defeat, even if he carried strong emotions towards them. His strong morals make him a good foundation to rely on when times get hard and moral lines get fuzzy.
Weaknesses: - General distrust of clan cats: The scars on his face were from the tribe battles with the clans and he still hasn’t forgotten about it. He’s wary of outsiders joining Rootclan and isn’t the best at making them feel welcome. He refuses to become chummy with any cats that he doesn’t consider one of his own. This could change with time, but would take a looooong time. Blackmoon in social settings shows his bias for the tribe obviously. During more business-like interactions, this rarely comes up. - Quick to sacrifice himself to a good cause: Blackmoon always wants to be on the front lines. He translates this as support towards his clan, but sometimes it can be viewed as unnecessary and unwise. Sometimes he feels as if he is physically unable to sit still if he knows there is a job that needs to be done. He trusts himself the most to get work done as well. If he is to become a deputy and possibly a leader, this could quickly become a problem. - A short temper: If someone says something stupid, he lets them know. He has a low tolerance for bad ideas and is quick to say “no” with little consideration for anyone’s feelings. This goes along with the fact that he is swift to punish others. A rule broken is a rule broken 98% of the time, unless there is some moral dilemma occurring. For example, Blackmoon has a low tolerance policy for his apprentice, Bearpaw, and will make sure she receives a fair punishment for breaking any rules or skipping out on training.
Why?: For Blackmoon, this would seem like the natural next step. He’s always seeking for some other way to become more responsible and carry more of the clan on his shoulders. He would be able to offer more organization and precision to Rootclan on top of being a very involved deputy. It would be important to him to still participate in warrior tasks, even the more mundane ones, and simply add deputy duties on top of that. In no way would Blackmoon want to be held to a higher degree than his clan-mates. He is not one to parade around in his new title and would just quietly get to work.
Screechstar, as a more forward thinker, could bounce ideas off of the more traditionalist Blackmoon to keep Rootclan balanced as a whole. To those that miss the tribe and are more hesitant about the clan cats, Blackmoon holding a higher degree of power in the clan could feel more familiar and welcoming.
Carried Home is a Warriors roleplay forum. We feature four clans - all four of which have futures that heavily depend on what your characters do - as well as a 50 word count minimum on RP posts, and a functioning currency and shop.
While most of the action does center around our four clans, members are also permitted to make loners, rogues, and kittypets. You can also make both StarClan and Dark Forest characters.
