Melody is a rather pretty, petite she-cat who lets her personality do most of the talking for her. She is careful to always keep well-groomed, with her snowy white chest and belly, as well as her front paws, remain as immaculate as possible when she chances to go out on a ramble. The rest of her tortie pelt is rather smoky-looking, mostly being made out of soft grey patches with faint tabby stripes. Lastly, she has inherited a few ginger patches; most noticeably on her face, running up her nose and just over her grey-blue eyes.
While she is an inside-outside kittypet, she proudly wears a rather blingy collar placed on her by her little two-leg owner: a rather obnoxious pink number with a jingly tag on the front, in case she would ever get lost.
Melody has always been a happy, chipper little cat who looks to the world as if it has everything to offer her. She has never dreamed really of being more than she is - always being warm and protected. Perfectly happy with her lot in life, she likely wouldn't be if she wasn't allowed the freedom of her owner's garden - as she has, like some distant family members she barely remembers, always felt a little itch to roam.
She is too keen on living the highlife to leave being a kittypet though. A rather high maintenance young thing who is rather afraid of being messy - not quite germaphobic, but definitely keen on keeping herself beautiful and show-worthy. She is a bit of a master at making two-legs listen to her - at least, in her own head; giving them big eyed looks and sweet, songlike mewls - which is what gave her her name eventually.
Needless to say, Melody has a bit of a chip on her shoulder; she is a pampered little princess who enjoys the sweet life, but at the same point will do what needs to be done to get what she wants. Her 'friendship' with some of the cat's worst traditional enemies is proof that she's not going to take any sort of hardship lying down.
Melody was born in a loving, warm kittypet household to Pinki. Her litter was a rather large one, but many of her siblings would flee before they were separated to different houses - leaving her with only her sister Star to be eventually given away to new homes. She has no idea what has happened to her brothers Speck and Stanley, or sister Cream, but would not be opposed to meeting them again.
She was given to a neighbor, not too far away from her birth home, as a kitten pet to a little two-leg cub. She was patient enough to allow the little girl to dress her up and play with her fur - as she rather enjoyed it. She felt like a queen in her new home - the only hardship being the only other four-legged occupant of the house - a small yappy dog named Ernie.
However, after many moons rubbing shoulders with the tiny hound, she has found herself not only getting along with the dog, but actually understanding him and some of his fellow flea-chasers. Ernie bows to her, as a sort of 'alpha' - although in truth they are about the same size, and Melody is younger.
She simply has the more forceful personality.

Carried Home is a Warriors roleplay forum. We feature four clans - all four of which have futures that heavily depend on what your characters do - as well as a 50 word count minimum on RP posts, and a functioning currency and shop.
While most of the action does center around our four clans, members are also permitted to make loners, rogues, and kittypets. You can also make both StarClan and Dark Forest characters.
