breathes deeply
OKAY!
I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now. With Milkberry as my very first character here on Carried Home, she has a very special place in my heart. I want her to have everything I can give her- happiness, pain, growth and all. And what could be a better next step for her overall life than kits?
Milkberry is a dedicated and honorable member of Mothclan, trained by Mothstar and well-trusted by all her peers despite her non-clan blood. While she can be strict in regards to the rules, she still has a sharp wit and sassiness to her that makes her interesting to engage with. She enjoys shooting the shit and relaxing in the sun while sharing tongues. Shes a lesbian who fancies the little things in clan life.
Having kits was never really much on her mind. Instead, she figured the family she wished to nurture and care for was her new clan and they were always enough. Romance, however, was something she desired. She sought over so many females only to each time end up in heartbreak. Now her love is to her clan. Yet, it was always a personal goal of mine to have her partake in caregiving of her own offspring, regardless of how it comes about.
Due to the state of Mothclan, Milkberry is all cooped up in Mistclan alongside Rootclan. Thus, there is ample suitors for a spontaneous fling. I would like for her to have an accidental litter if at all possible; she makes a lovely lady friend or perhaps even a rare male one and has a roll in the hay in order to burn off all her stress. It can be a quick, whirlwind romance that sets some foundation for a continued relationship or it could end up a dirty secret and leave them with a sour taste in their mouths, or anything in between. As my most organically grown character, what ever happens naturally will be best.
Despite the unexpected pregnancy, she will love and care very much for her kits as any mother would. She helped Ruststripe with her first litter and even helped raise Onionplume, so she has a little bit of experience under her belt, helping her to feel more confident. But as expected, she'll still be a bit nervous and I think it will help to further develop her with this as the next arc in her life. She'll be a mother similar to what she remembered of her own mother and Sweetbriar as a kit. Always invested, doting, but also not too spoiling of her babies. She'll correct them when they're in the wrong, and pick on them playfully as her mother did on her. All in all, these kits will be the loves of her life.
I will be tentatively buying items for this litter: Litter Size (5, I want at least 3-4 plus a safety net in case one is stillborn) + What a Coincidence + Gender for my claimed kit.
Not necessarily first come first serve, but I want to get this plot on the road. And if there is enough interest, I'd even be willing to allow a multi-sire litter.
