IvyClan
Current Leader: Heronstar
Current Deputy: Dustytuft
Current Medicine Cat: Flaxpelt
Current Medicine Cat Apprentice: -
Past Leaders: Ivystar, Burnstar, Leopardstar, Rushstar, Owlstar, Rookstar
Past Deputies: Silvernight, Owleyes, Lionbelly, Wolfclaw, Roseblaze, Rookheart, Creeksong, Firechaser, Mudjaw, Foxfall, Heronflight
Past Medicine Cats: Leafspring, Aquafern, Larkbeat, Beetleshade, Lilydawn, Finchtuft
Appearances: IvyClan cats tend to be very colourful, with an assortment of spots, socks, and stripes. It has become rather rare to see a solid colored cat in IvyClan, after generations of patterns and hues. They are often on the smaller side when it come to size, usually more stocky than lean. That doesn’t mean you won’t find the occasional different cat, IvyClan is incredibly diverse.
Description: These cats tend to think with their hearts rather than their heads. They are a kindhearted clan, who appreciate each other fully and tend to be incredibly loyal. They make quick decisions rather than well thought out ones, and though they often adhere to the warrior code, they’ll break it in a heartbeat should a cat’s life be at stake. They are very connected to StarClan, and often turn to their warrior ancestors for guidance in times of need. IvyClan is the most likely clan to allow kittypets, loners, and rogues to join.
MistClan
Current Leader: Dogstar
Current Deputy: Aspencrest
Current Medicine Cat: Daisypetals
Current Medicine Cat Apprentice: Whiteblossom
Past Leaders: Miststar, Greenstar, Froststar, Bearstar, Sablestar
Past Deputies: Frostheart, Rushflow, Bearfang, Sabletail, Dogear, Whitefire
Past Medicine Cats: Stormfang , Silverfang, Frostfall
Appearances: MistClan cats are usually solid coloured, lean cats. They usually come in a variety of monotones, greys, blacks, whites, but you’ll find a few more colourful and patterned cats here and there. They tend to be thinner, but have all different lengths of fur. MistClan used to move around more before they settled next to IvyClan, and have adapted to all climates.
Description: They tend to be more clever and witty about situations, choosing to think things out. While they are a clan and help to provide for each other, they are more loner-like than a traditional clan. Often, cats here will choose themselves and their loved ones over other clanmates. They do follow the warrior code, but are not as strict about sticking to it. As well as this, they have a rather spotty belief in StarClan. Some follow their ancestors, others don’t.
MothClan
Current Leader: Mantisstar
Current Deputy: Tickstorm
Current Medicine Cat: Mottlepool
Current Medicine Cat Apprentice: -
Past Leaders: Mothstar, Brackenstar, Eveningstar, Tansystar
Past Deputies: Brackenfall, Eveningblaze, Batstrike, Tansysong, Mantisclaw
Past Medicine Cats: Cedarleap, Palesun
Appearances: There is no one MothClan appearance as the clan is made up of cats not only of IvyClan and MistClan, but also of loners and rogues that proved their loyalty to the clan. As long as they were loyal and could win fights, and providing that they weren't a kittypet, they were welcome in MothClan. Because of this, a lot of the cats appear physically large and strong. There are the smaller cats though, often that have managed to prove their prowess in battle through means other than simply fighting.
Description: Often prideful and foolhardy, the one thing that gathers MothClan together is the fact that they know how to fight. The clan was formed when Mothstar, then Mothmaw of MistClan, grew tired of what he saw as flimsy leadership from the current leader, Froststar. He created whispers and soon those whispers became an idea - the idea of a clan of their own. One that could lead properly. Because of this, MothClan cats have a tendency to be forwards going and act on feelings. The clan has a focus on personal strength, usually in terms of fighting, and using that strength to protect yourself and others.
RootClan
Current Leader: Shadowstar
Current Deputy: Sunblaze
Current Medicine Cat: Willowlight
Current Medicine Cat Apprentice: -
Past Leaders: Firstspeaker (As Tribe), Screechstar, Blackstar, Brittlestar
Past Deputies: Feathercrest, Blackmoon, Brittlebark, Birdsong
Past Medicine Cats: Shadowfall,
Appearances: The cats of RootClan come in all sorts of colours, but the majority of them have a specific body shape. They are thin with angular faces, big ears, and long legs. If you want suggestions of breeds that could represent this, try the following: Balinese, Cornish Rex, Oriental Longhair, Oriental Shorthair, Seychellois, Siamese, Suffolk Chocolate. The Devon Rex could also work, though it has a unique head shape. Remember that no cat in the clans will be a purebred without a reason. These breeds are just to help you find examples of what a RootClan cat might look like.
Description: Formerly known as the Tribe of Ancient Roots. They are a group that do not trust easily - both when it comes to strangers and, reasonably often, within their own group. To the other clans, they speak with odd accents (Welsh). Though they prefer to stick to tradition, devastation in their original home forced them to move to the main territories and assimilate into clan life. Relations with the other clans are tense due to a battle that happened when they first came to the other clans' territories, in which Mothstar lost his last life, and RootClan being viewed somewhat as outsiders.
