Meteorfall groaned as she sat upright in her nest, her legs sore and belly adding to it. She had been growing more tired day after day with this growing belly of hers. She glanced at it, anxiety flickering in her head. She frowned, looking over at Finchtongue, who was sleeping soundly. She sighed under her breath and watched him before nudged him, "Finch, wake up." He'd find out sooner or later what was going on, or she thought he would. Finch was oblivious, after all. A small smile lit her face at how funny he could be sometimes. Anyway, back to breaking the news. "I have something to tell you. Come outside."



Dofferz!

"pha, phah!" Finchtongue sputtered. He flailed his paws as he felt himself being nudged. He didn't want to have to wake up! His nest was so warm and cozy and full of moss and-- wait, was that Meteorfall? He liked Meteorfall too, so he guessed he could wake up. Blinking open his eyes, oblivious bean would twist around in his nest, looking up at the grey warrior with a light smile. A smile soon disrupted with a sleepy yawn. 

"Finch, wake up. I have something to tell you. Come outside." 
"Okay!" he simply chirped, rolling back over. He arched his back in a heavy stretch first, and than simply made his way outside of the Warrior's den, careful not to step on the tails of any sleeping cats. He was a very polite cat and he knew it wasn't fun to step on other cats' tails. Although he aught to be curious about what Meteorfall had to say to him, especially out of earshot of the rest of the clan, he pretty much didn't think twice. She probably wanted to like... hunt or fetch moss. 

After all, he really was a polite cat.
If Meteorfall was getting fat, even if by kits, he was polite enough not to notice. It was like.. some sort of  unintentional confidence booster for the pretty she-cats.  Or, in simpler terms, he hadn't noticed. More so he hadn't been looking. I mean, kits? How were they even made? Hawk, one shouldn't ask him!

"It's pretty outside." he would comment.

Meteorfall followed Finch outside, and sat down just outside the camp. "Yes, it's a pretty night." How should she word this? She thought for a moment, staring at her paws. Finally, she decided that there was most likely no awkward way to tell him that she was expecting kits. His kits. She looked up at him, a sheepish smile spreading across her face, "I'm expecting kits, you're gonna be a father!" She giggled, curling her tail around her paws. Despite the anxiety she had about having kits, she was assured that Finch would be happy about having kits of his own.

[Dofferz!]

Wait, why was Meteorfall looking down at her paws? Was something wrong? She looked kinda nervou. Anxious like she needed to get something off of her chest. For a second Finchtongue began to grow worried. Was there something wrong? Was something bad about to happen? Or maybe it already had! However, when she finally spoke, her words were the complete opposite of bad.

"i'm expecting kits, you're gonna be a father!"
Wait.. huh? The words caught him slightly off guard. First Finchtongue grew confused, than excited. ”Really!?” he gasped, a humungous grin spreading across his maw. The bicoloured male leaped to his feet, looking back over his shoulder as if he expected them to suddenly make their way out from behind the waterfall to greet him. Well, technically, it wasn't like he expected that... he did expect that.

”Well, where are they?” he would squeak, turning big, ecstatic eyes back to the expecting mother. "I wanna see!"
