"If something were to happen, can't fight like this." Snow stopped for just a second. She looked deeper into the tendrils darkness swallowing them the deeper they went in. She blinked slowly sure they couldn't fight in this, but neither could anything relatively dangerous. She lifted on paw hesitantly placing it down eventually they would rely just on smell and touch. Sure their eyes would adjust but it would still be incredibly difficult to navigate. Deep down she knew he was right, but the thought of seeing something new was also incredibly exciting. She was torn over her sense of adventure or honestly protecting herself. After thinking for a few moments she decided that life was worth the adventure. If you didn't take risks what type of life would you have?
"Yes perhaps, but it would be equally as difficult for something dangerous to get at us as well." This area was a trap no doubt. It would be hard to run, crawl, do much of anything as the trees thickened. "Let's just go a BIT further and if there's nothing we can go back." That was fair right? In her own mind it was very fair but what was just a little further? Was it a fox tail? a Rabbit leap? Snow really had no sense of measurement and a little further to her could be ages of time for Sun. That was the beauty in it really, a little further could be just about any distance. Which was really a loop hole and Snow really didn't seem to mind.
Her blue eyes narrowed against the darkness her paws getting stuck in tendrills and sticky plants. She snorted in annoyance. What type of plants liked it pitch black anyways? She closed her eyes for just a second before running into something with a large THUMP. She sat down, shaking her head to relieve herself of the feeling. She should have been paying attention but the prey-hunter had gotten lost in her own thoughts once more. She looked up placing a paw on the stone that she had ran into. What...what was it?
"This is something right?" It could have been just stone, but the coolness of it, it almost felt open. She grabbed a vine and tendril with her teeth, before giving it a hard tug. "Maybe there is something here under this mess, if not we can go home. and rest it's been a long day." She mewed softly before giving the plant another tug.
