These monsters, they were interesting. Silvetongue had been watching them for a few days now. Not consistently, of course, but whenever he had a chance. He'd noticed that they seemed to run past him at the same time every day. Perhaps monsters also had patrols? Or they simply liked order? Hm... Who knew. Whatever the case, he might be able to use this information to his advantage. If Silvertongue ever needed to get rid of an enemy, for example, perhaps he could just push them into the path of a monster that he knew was coming.

Sat on a raised rock, Silvertongue had a good view of everything around him, and so he managed to see Hailstrike approaching before she managed to get too close. Oh, hello. The tom's preference would have been to continue watching the monsters rush by, but he wasn't going to pass over the opportunity to make connections where he could - especially as MothClan was still somewhat new, meaning he was still in the initial judging stage when it came to the character's of his fellow warriors.

Silvertongue gracefully hopped down from his rock and made his way over to Hailstrike. "Hello." He greeted, putting on the kind, friendly expression that he constantly maintained when he was in the presence of others. "What brings you this close to the Thunder Trails?"

[attr="class","mary5"]A massive, long-bodied, and broad-shoulder she-warrior sauntered amongst the vast landscape, her visage stoic and harsh. She'd always appeared provoked, although, she truly wasn't. It was just a mask of seriousness. Beneath her mask, was a ginormous, munificent softy. As she trekked along, amidst the bitter temperatures, which made the atmosphere feel as if it was thin. It took her breath away. For some strange reason, the cold snatched the breath away from her, and she would only inhale short breaths. It was not the greatest, and yet, a reason why she despised the cold; winter and autumn in general.

In this fine, chilly afternoon, she was already annoyed, well, mainly because of the cold. Autumn. It was Autumn. It was the strangest autumn for time out of mind. The trees remained clothed in green until the middle of October and then all of a sudden were a riot of color. It was as if the season jumped into the park instead of fading in as it usually would, and was all the more magnificent for doing so. Upon the newly softened mud were the acorns - from green to pale brown, none yet the rich hue of children's story books. The air was cooler with a tincture of earthiness - just a hint that brought to mind the cozy evenings and the warm den.

A single golden leaf pirouetted down an invisible spiral of breeze, spinning through the air as it let itself be carried down. It shook slightly, as if it could have been whisked away any second by the grip of an icy zephyr, but it kept floating down the twirling course. It blew past Hailstrike's face and landed lightly on the ground, the shiny, vibrant color standing out against the ambers and bronzes beneath it. It was so delicate, she wanted to reach down and pick it up and hold it close to her heart, smoothing out any creases, but something told me that it belonged there, this corpse of what was once summer.

Trailing deeper into the territory of MothClan, Hailstrike came to an abrupt halt, two emblazoned vermilion chasms scanning the area, as she had heard the sudden noises of various monsters speed past, leaving behind the sound of vrooom, or something of that sort. She was displeased by the sound, causing her expressionless palette to finally change, and twist with disgust and annoyance, her acoustics drawing back and pinning amongst her cranium. 

She was being approached. By who? Oh, Silvertongue. What was he doing out here? Observing the monsters or something? Possibly. Hailstrike couldn't judge, as she could find herself doing the same thing. As he had greeted her in a rather polite manner, Hailstrike would do the same in return, but in a more monotone and jejune voice. She wasn't the most empathetic and ecstatic molly around. "Ah, greetings, Silvertongue," She uttered, a slight hint of sweetness laced in her vocals, "Nothing, I was simply taking a walk, but heard the monsters, so I came here and it seems I've found you," She answered. "And you?" She then inquired, quite curious.
