Loonflight Male 85 Moons Homosexual MothClan Warrior "Well back in my day...!" Appearance Loonflight is a big, very fluffy tom with extremely thick fur. His pelt is dark in color and, despite the protection his dense coat provides, is marred by many a scar. His snout is slightly tucked into his face due to some far-off heritage. His eyes strike cats with their bloodshot orange hue, making him look quite fierce. Still, though, his fur looks slightly unkempt most days, as it is hard to groom. Personality Loonflight is a whimsical, yet wise and somewhat good-humored cat. He's the one often found telling stories to kits on a whim, entertaining them with his experiences. On the flip side, many apprentices have dreaded and will dread having him as a mentor. He is known to be terse, strict, and stern when it comes to training. While he does allow for early beginner's mistakes, he will not tolerate that later on. He is experienced and knows when to fight and, more importantly, when not to fight. That is the first thing he tells his apprentices, always. Some may call him grumpy, but he has seen a good bit in his life thus far. History Loonflight was born moons upon moons ago as Loonkit into MistClan, to two lovebirds who were relatively happy with their little family and his sister, Swankit. He became an apprentice, Loonpaw, alongside Swanpaw, at six moons. About a moon later, the litter with his brother Goldenkit (later, Goldenmane) came to be. A little after Goldenkit was apprenticed, Loonpaw became known as Loonflight for the way he navigated their old mountain home so easily and fought courageously in battle the day prior, the same battle that took his father's life. His sister was quick to settle down with her apprentice-hood sweetheart, Leafpuddle, and had kits: Smallkit, Splashkit, and Shortkit. Eventually, Splashkit became Loonflight's apprentice. Everything was fine for a while, but then something terrible happened. While on patrol, an eagle carried Swanstem away, robbing Loonflight of his sister and Splashpaw of her mother. He grew distant after that, becoming more quiet and somber. Splashpaw became Splashbird, in honor of her mother, without much thought. Loonflight came back out of his shell when it came time for his Clan to move from their old territory. During the trip, he assisted Splashbird with carrying her kits, Otterkit and Swankit, while also mingling with IvyClan cats. When Mothmaw declared the existence of MothClan, Loonflight followed him to it, now believing in the strength of the bonds they had formed over their arduous journey. Since then, he has helped his Clan, MothClan, settle into their new territory and watched their success with baited breath. They will survive and go down in the annals of history, of this he is sure.
