This time Barkfur most certainly heard the MothClan comments, having been standing only just across the border from them. His ears flick as they cross the borders. “Well IvyClan didn’t send me, I just ended up here before the patrol did. Figured I might should see if MothClan was keeping to the warrior code. Suppose they aren’t; and I thought you guys were pretending to be a real clan over there. Real clans have this little thing called a warrior code.” Barkfur responds to them; according to the new markers that the Moth cats were making, Barkfur was on their territory. Not that he looks like he’s moving any time soon. He makes a few more markings, at the place where the border should be, completely ignoring ‘new borders’. “Now I suggest you go play clan over back on your territory. Perhaps if MothClan’s warriors are so inept that they cannot feed their clanmates then perhaps they shouldn’t have betrayed their own clans, hm?” Bark’s eyes specifically target the cats originally from IvyClan.
The cats from IvyClan may have known of Barkpaw, the apprentice who started fights nonstop. He was always in trouble, and he was not afraid to get into fights with even fully grown warriors. It was a hard way to learn, but Barkfur turned out to be a pretty good fighter…. At least when he’s against one enemy. He knows his chances are rather nonexistent against an entire patrol of bloodthirsty MothClan cats, but hey. Gotta try right? At the very least, these MothClan warriors wouldn’t get away wound free.
His ears swivel as another IvyClan scent finds his nose. Timberheart. The other warrior took off immediately upon seeing the MothClan cats, but the action brought a sly smile to Barkfur’s face. Bark doesn’t believe that any of his fellow warriors would truly run from battle; no, Timberheart must be retrieving a nearby patrol or going for help. Either way, backup would arrive soon.
