[ti]Private[/ti]Adventures of Lion and Elk [Private w/ Silver] Take one!

 The thick furred feminine was in a giddy mood as her olive green eyes landed on the tom that shared her blood. The two had been recently promoted to apprentices and Elkpaw had ended up with one more promotion. She had wanted to be this since she was wittle, very very wittle. And now, the time had come. Her soft paws silently walked up to her large brother and she brushed lovingly against his side, purring.  "Guess what." She tried to perk his interest and sat down in front of him, grinning. She awaited his response before opening her maw to say, "Cedarleap chose me as her apprentice!" The she-cat kneaded the ground happily before growing serious. "But shhhhh! You're not supposed to know until they announce it... I think."

Lionpaw was just chilling, wandering around in a bored stupor while he waits for his mentor to teach him something or for a patrol to join. He lets out a purr as his beloved sister rubs against his side. “Hiya, Elkpaw,” He mews with a big grin. At her request for him to guess what’s up, he responds by slightly tilting his head to one side. His way of asking what’s up.

At the announcement of Elk getting to be the medicine cat’s apprentice, Lionpaw’s questioning expression turned into a happy yowl as he tackles her to the ground. Lion knows she’s been wanting to be the medicine cat since they were small, that being a warrior wasn’t exactly the life that Elk would fit best into. The fact that she’ll get the chance to be the best clanmate she can be while living a life that makes her happy is just the best news that Lionpaw has ever heard.

“That’s amazing, Elkpaw!” Lionpaw squeals just like a small kit, “I know you’ll be the best medicine cat ever.” He says the last part with convictions. He knows it will be true, and he fluffs up his ginger fur in pride. My sister is going to be the medicine cat someday!

"Lionpaw- mrRROW!" Elkpaw released a yowl of alarm as she was suddenly tackled by her brother. At first, she had the wind knocked out of her before she started laughing, booping his nose with hers as she listened.

"I hope I'll be One of the best medicine cays!" She told him as he appeared sure that she would be the best of the best. There were many great medicine cats before her. Like the ones that traveled from the mountain and managed to keep their clans healthy! She hadn't heard much about the journey and she was sure she would have to ask somebody (her father, perhaps?) about what happened to cause them to leave. She hasn't ever heard why they had to leave... Just that they had to leave.

“I know you will be.” He repeats simply, his grin still splitting his face. How could his sister not be one of the best? She was so kind and always worried about everyone. All their lives, she had been protecting the Moth children (from each other) and Lion can’t even remember when Elk first started helping Cedarleap in her den. Besides, Cedarleap chose Elkpaw, even though there were several other cats who had wanted the position. At least, Lion thinks there were other cats that wanted to be the medicine cat’s apprentice… in his mind there were.

He chuckles as she boops his nose, leaning down and licking her forehead as a gesture of brotherly love. “I’m so proud of you, Elkpaw! You should be proud of yourself too!” He purrs, puffing up his chest in pride as he is still standing on top of his sister. So he’s probably burying poor Elk in his ginger fluff.

Elkpaw opened her maw to reply before finding herself with a mouthful of ginger fluff. Her brother. She twisted her head back, trying to breathe as she started suffocating in his floof. "Lionpaw! Please! I'm drowning!" She gasped, pushing against his chest with her broad paws. While she was a large apprentice, she wasn't as large or as fluffy as her brother. And she was regretting it.

And Elkpaw was consumed by the abyssal fluff of Lionpaw. She was never seen or heard from again.

Just kidding.

It takes him a moment to realize that yes, his sister is drowning in his glorious fluff. Lionpaw’s fur settles back down and he hops off, allowing Elkpaw to stand and to catch her breath. “Sorry,” He purrs, a sheepish smile on his kittyface. He’s kinda sorry. Somewhat sorry. Maybe. “But congratulations, Elkpaw. I know you’ve been wanting that position for a long time now; you’ve been working hard since we were kits, helping Cedarleap. You deserve this.” He purrs, his amber eyes glowing with pride.

Elkpaw scrambled to her paws, inhaling air as he stepped off of her. She chuckled at his words, grinning. "You know what this means, right?" She purred, childishly. "You have to do whatever I say!" She said, puffing her chest with pride. Haha! Finally, Lionpaw would be forced to listen to her! For medicine cat purposes, of course.

Lion’s ginger head tilts to one side as she asks if he knows what it means. Clearly not. As she continues, purring that he’d have to do whatever she said, he purrs right back in the sweetest voice he can manage, “But I already do whatever you say, sis.” Sometimes. I mean, it’s not like she told him not to train in the Dark Forest or anything. In general, his disobedience to his sisters is usually more of taking advantage of things they didn’t specifically tell him not to do.
