In the old forest, a peace existed between the clans and outsiders most times. Sure the rogues and loners would trespass occasionally to hunt, but nothing noteworthy in the grand scheme of things. This changed after the forest fire caused by twolegs, the clans descending down into the twolegplace in a grand invasion. They settled in the prey rich park, decimating the prey population for generations to come and spreading strange illnesses to the outsiders. And just as quickly as they had come, they left without a word, without a word of apology for what they had left. One of the rogues saw this, and gathered numbers over the moons as she followed.
They took residence in the heart of the twoleg’s place, far beyond where the bravest clan cats dared to tread. There they began to prosper and grow strong, many kits being born and members joining. Their paws grew more and more stained with the blood of the clans.
Things don’t last forever, and the alleyway that served as a home for moons ceased to be so hospitable. The twolegs saw the feral cats growing in their numbers, and in an act the cats couldn’t understand began to act to help the often injured animals. The council decided it was time to move, gathering themselves.
After many patrols coming up empty, they found their new home. An empty twoleg’s den, left to rot. With few other hospitable places, the feral cats moved in.

Fighter
As suggested by the name, fighters are expected to spend most of their days training for battle. They often patrol for threats in the twoleg's place, as well as accompany the other specialties patrols to fight in the case of an enemy attack.
Hunter
Hunters are expected to bring back the lion's share of the prey. They wander the twoleg's place, searching for scraps and small creatures alike. While they aren't expected to provide for the alliance before themselves, they are required to provide.
Scout
Scouts are essential to the group. They are the trailblazers, brave souls that go forth before any other cat. They report their findings, be it the locations of fresh water or even locations of enemy cats.
Healer
Healers, despite their seemingly passive name, can prove to be just as deadly as any other rogue. They learn the uses of herbs found in the forests as well as the twoleg's place, both healing and harming. They carry out most of the rituals done by the group.

Ritual scars
Scars show much about a cat, doubly so for the Alliance. They can show where a cat has been, where the path of life has taken them and what position they hold.
Mark of Growth (Prick on the paw pad with a thorn, 4 moons old)
Mark of Metamorphosis(Horizontal scar on right leg, if a cat changes their specialty)
Mark of Victory (First fight won right side, First kill left side)
Mark of The Dust (Betrayal/prisoners, across eyes or nose. Non blinding in most cases.)
Marks of Leadership (Council members only, three scars in a deep v, between eyes and onto muzzle.)
Mark of the Shun (For kits/cats that leave the group officially. Horizontal scars on the chest.)
Mark of Enlightenment (When a clan cat joins the rogues. Deep scar across the shoulders.)
Rituals
Rituals are performed throughout a cat’s life, as well as scarification. While most scars are often not given their own ritual, and are instead conducted in private with a healer’s help some are used to mark a cat’s growth. All rituals are done out of Starclan’s sight, while the sun is the highest in the sky. The entire group is called, similar to a monthly clan meeting.
Most scars are applied by the healers unless it’s stated otherwise, and will be treated as any other wound.
Note: Italicized rituals should not be RPed out to keep it within the PG-13 rating. This only applies to the scarification, and when it gets to that point the cat should head to the healer’s den and exit the thread there.

Ritual of Growth
When a kit turns 4 moons, they begin training. One of the council members calls the 4 moons forward, and announces their growth. The kits must swear loyalty to the group.
Example text:
CM: “Do you swear to remain loyal to your kin, no matter what events may come or the future may hold?”
The kit then replies, affirming or refusing. Should they refuse they are marked with the mark of the shun and brought far away from the rotting den. If they return without a guide they will be treated as a traitor. If they accept, they will prick their paw on the offered thorn, drawing blood. They are expected to begin light training, provided by their parents.
At the conclusion, the council members present the kits with a single pebble. The mother is also granted a pebble for each of her kits that remains with the group.

Ritual of Choosing
Ritual of Return
Ritual of Treason
Ritual of Enlightenment
Ritual of Farewells
When the kits become 6 moons, they become full members of the group. They can be addressed as a group, or as individuals if there aren’t many.
Example text:
We have many cats turning six lunar cycles. We have watched you grow, and you have made us proud. Now is the time to choose what you wish for your future to shape into, as full members of our family. This is not set in stone, as you are all free to pursue your own path.
The 6 moons step forward, stating what the path they wish to follow. Should they change their mind, they will be marked with the mark of metamorphosis by the healers.

Ritual of Return
Sometimes, a cat may leave and wish to return. They must wait outside the rotting den until a member notices them, and express their desire to return to the group. The cat should bring them inside, directly to the nearest council member. It is then that the cats around the den shall be called, and they will vote on if the cat should be allowed to return.
If they’re accepted they will share tongues with the council members present, signifying their acceptance. If they’re rejected, they will be escorted away by the scouts.
The Mark of the Shun will be added to, crossed out with a diagonal scar.

Ritual of Treason
Sometimes cats turn against the group, or shunned cats return without being welcomed back. In this case, the rogues are gathered. The cat is told the reason for their punishment, and are expected to remain silent. They may explain the reason or try to defend themselves if prompted, but otherwise every cat in the group is expected to strike the traitor once.
If a queen lost a kit to the traitor, she can strike him twice. The same goes for any cat injured purposefully by said cat.
Healers may administer herbs to make the cat ill or weak.
After each cat has gotten a blow, the council moves forward and slashes the cat across the face. This can be blinding but in most cases it simply leaves a very visible scar.
The traitor is then either killed or left for dead deep in the twolegplace.

Ritual of Enlightenment
When a clan cat leaves their clan, it is seen as a rebirth for that cat. With the act of betrayal expected by the cat, their old self dies and with the scarring they are reborn. They have the option of picking a new name as well.
Ritual of Farewells
Cats die, and the rogues honor them despite their cruel and violent reputation. The group is gathered, and either a council member or a close friend of the dead cat speaks on their life. The dead cat’s stones are gathered by the group, and set in a pile in the place of stacked stones. As the ritual comes to a close it is expected the friends of the dead yowl as loud as they can manage, the sound to supposedly bid the cat’s spirit farewell.

OOC Information
Yo, this is a group of cats created both by IC events and a desire to create a brand new culture and flavor to the warrior's universe. None of this (to my knowledge) is from the series, instead it has been a community project made by the players of Carried Home. I ask you don't use this for an outside source whatsoever, but instead I encourage you to be unique and creative. Create, write, get inspired!
As far as joining, you do not need a reason to be angry with the clans. Your cat can simply want to survive, or even just want to raise some hell. Please note the time since creation on your form if your cat was born into the group.
