 Jaysong made a little hiss of annoyance as the strong and fresh scent of MistClan wafted up her nose. It was to be expected, she was at the border.
 
 But it was on her side.

 The dark grey tabby lifted her slender, oriental like head, bushy tail flicking in annoyance as she tensed her lean muscles, searching for the source. Then she saw it. A large, ebony colored Tom who's pelt glistened in the sun. She'd go as far as call him handsome if she didn't already hate him. She bounded up to the tom, claws unsheathed, hissing and spitting. "Excuse me, MistClanner! You've ventured far enough in MothClan territory!" She practically bellowed, even though he was on his side. He still had laid a single paw on the territory and she had sworn upon joining this clan she'd protect it.

Perhaps it was that Ravenwing didn't know that he was currently on Mistclan's territory. He had been drunk on sunlight and all he needed was a nice, warm place to sleep it all off in the form of a quick, hour long snooze. And it was in that moment, merely a half hour earlier, that Ravenwing had settled himself down in the perfect spot, dozing to sleep with a purr. But alas, his dream of comfort was too good to be true as the ebony warrior was jerked to life by the angry howl of another cat. He did not act suddenly, however, but simply opened his eyes to look into those of his confronter. Silver tabby she-cat.. She was lightly familiar, and he had assumed that she had been a past Ivyclan cat. He could remember seeing the femme on the journey to these lands so she was not a recruited loner or rogue, but he would of certainly recognized her had she of been a past Mistclan warrior. He wouldn't of forgotten a face he grew up with. 

"My apologies," he spoke, not at all moving his body in an attempt to leave for he had assumed he was on his own side of the two clan's border. "But I believe you are mistaken; the last time I had checked, this land here was claimed by Mistclan." Ravenwing, you poor sweetheart. He took in a breath and closed is deep blue eyes once again. "Now if you do not mind, I would appreciate it if i were able to continue where I had left off. Wouldn't you agree that the sunlight is just so warm here?"

 Jaysong pinned her ears. Of course. Wait, his tail tip. Giving off a kit like behaviour in her childish ways, she reached over and snagged his tail tip in her teeth, pulling him a bit. "Your tail was in the territory!" She said around his tail tip, prideful yet aggressively. She stood tall, trying to make her small frame appear bigger than it what it was.

[Dofferz!]

Oh, she was looking for a fight, it seemed. He didn't expect the silver tabby to reach over and grab his tail, but allowed her, blinking. He paused for a second and than sat up, looking down on her. "Technically, if you want to go so far as to say, you indeed were the one whom crossed the border first in order to reach my tail. So you, ma'am, are in fact trespassing in Mistclan territory." Ravenwing hummed, flicking his tail back over to his side and wrapping it around is paws. He smiled at her with a light, smug smile. 

Even with her chest puffed out, he merely yawned, lifting his arm and running his tongue along it. "But if you're looking for a fight," he paused, blinked, and rose to his feet. Ravenwing didn't say anymore, but rather left it at that, allowing her to infer what he would of spoken next. Pesh, what a kit.

She but little, she be mighty. Jaysong grinned lowly, lowering herself, lean muscles tense. This was in fact what she had been training for. What MothClan was all about. He needed to be taught a lesson. She lowered herself to the ground, acting as if she was gonna leap at him before scuffing up some dirt, tossing it into his eyes to momentarily blind him. With that, she spun around behind him, attempting to latch onto his back and dig her teeth into her scruff so she could 'ride' him and inflict some damage along his back while being out of reach.

So she really was wanting to attack, huh? He was ready to anticipate an attack, but the spray of dirt caught the male unawares as the small grains stuck painfully in his eyes. He hissed, peering through slanted eyes to minimize the rubbing but allow himself to see a little bit more than if his eyes had been shut. As she jumped, he preicted her to aim for his back as was the aim of the majority of leap attacks. Therefore he sidestepped, but not fast enough as he claws snagged in his fur. Jaysong did not land on the center of his back, but still gripped some of it.

In retaliation, Ravenwing would twist his neck around and attempt to either reach her tail or front paw (depending on her angle) with his teeth and jerk back to its normal position in an attempt to dislodge her and toss her to the ground. Ravenwing wasn't fast nor was he cunning, but he did have brute strength. His back stung from a couple, thin scratches, but he pushed the thought away for now, focusing on the Mothclan pest before him.

She yow led as the tom gripped her tail, tugging her back. She didn't let go though, forcing him to pry her from his back and allowing her to leave long, stinging gashes from where she had been all the way to the point she was forced to let go. She faced him, her tail still in his jaws before lunging forward and attempting to attach herself to his chest, teeth attempting to death grip his throat.

RavenWing couldn't hold back a yelp of pain as he tugged the feline off of his back, but the sounds caused by this action would be far less than if he had just left her, slicking up his back. Finally, as claws released from his skin as she was forced let to, RavenWing kept her tail in his jaws for the time being, slowly adding not and more pressure until was whisked out of his jaws as she lunged at him once more.

This time, the look of surprise was much more evident as her jaws sunk around his throat. Starclan! She was going for the kill! And for her to be a past Ivyclanner.. It wasn't as if she had never carried a code of decency with her. She had the knowledge that killing didn't always win the battle. "You slimy eel-heart!" the male gasped, applying all of his power to loosen her jaws until eventually (plz don't even ask me what sort of move idek) he finally did so. Clenching his teeth, he crouched down. He was defense at the moment, but if he wanted to have a chance of victory (because he couldn't imagine losing to a cat as small as this), he would have to get offensive more.

Claws sheathed, RavenWing would burst forwards, using one paw to hopefully tug at one of her feet to cause a brief unbalancing, and than immediately after, use the other and give Jaysong a sturdy whack across the side of her head. Successful or not, the ebony male would than attempt to preform the second half again, but this time, claws unsheathed and he aimed towards the side of her muzzle, next to but not across her nose.

Eel-heart? Was that the best he could do? Jaysong felt her teeth pried from his neck, even if she wasn't actually going for the kill. No, she would never! She just enter to scare him.

Oh, she wasn't paying attention. She easy vriefly unbalanced before a strong whack to the back if her head stunned her. She stumbled, regaining her senses just in time to avoid the claws, only earning a nick in the ear. Mad now, she charged him before promptly darting in circles, dragging her tail across the ground to cause dust to stir. Once she stirred up enough, she used it to conceal herself, moving about the dust and lashing out every once in a while, trying to nick him in multiple soot until the dust settled.

He huffed in satisfaction as his paw collided, but was quickly unbalanced as the second missed it's target, leaving him vulnerable for a second. A second was a lifetime in battle. He tensed and prepared himself as the smaller cat charged, but instead of attack like he expected, she cut off and ran around him. If was only when the dust burned his eyes that he grasped the full extent of her plan—quick and slippery, she was! Clever like a fox! No matter how much smaller, a cat could always outsmart a dog. In this case, he was the dog.

He snarled in frustration, more small Knicks appearing around his body. She was easily picking him off, and the male's pride wouldn't allow him to lose. If he kept at it, however, surely he would. That meant that the tom had to end this fight once and for all. Baring his teeth, RavenWing withstood her quick attacks, hopping out of the way when he could. It was when the dust settled that he would remain where he was, breathing heavy and body sagged in defeat.

'Plus, a common battle tactic is to play dead to get your enemy to lower their guard. You, my fine warrior, are dead.'

He may be an idiot, but he hadn't forgotten Nightfur's words. Surely the Mothclanner wouldn't of called for such a trick if he had merely been knocked over, but alas, his wounds could say otherwise. The search for breath in his lungs. He would wait for the tabby to come close as he fell onto his side, cheek resting on the ground. "You," he coughed.

He assumed he would wait until she would grow closer. Surely the tabby wouldn't stay far from him forever. "Moth, I applaud you." he added, honestly. He was a sucky fighter, it seemed. He had the strength but he didn't know how to apply it.

He said nothing else, but would wait. Assuming Jay would come close, he hesitated, licked his drying lips. And in a swift movement, the ebony warrior would attempt to kick out with his leg to kit one of her limbs and knock her off balance. If successful, he would then attempt to twist his body to sink his teeth into her shoulder, and if grasped, would attempt to shove and pin the smaller cat to the ground as he would rise to his paws.
