The black tom listened with openness or so it seemed his eyes appeared brighter that she didn't cower back from in, and instead seemed rather excited by his gruff presence. In fact he had never had that type of response. He wasn't quite sure how to react. Brackenstar stepped forward assigning the she-cat to Cherryhawks careful watch. He raised a skeptic brow for just a moment but couldn't help but chuckle at the pairing. They would certainly starve if they didn't get their act together. "Cherryhawk will show you where the apprentices den is mind you it's very crowded standing room only." With the two new additions from MistClan the apprentices were practically sleeping on top of each other. It was rather amusing.
"Loyalty goes a long way. I don't want to catch you sneaking to IvyClan or sneaking back to the two-leg place. Normally once a kittypet always a kittypet." His tone had a sneer to it, leering at the she-cat. If she wanted to be apart of MothClan that meant being loyal to MothClan, no hoping borders. He looked to the sky watching the sun starting to lower. "You may want to get on that hunting, even our best hunters are bringing in scrap...once that sun goes down it starts to get VERY cold." If they wanted to eat tonight they had better start working on it. After all, all this talking their ears off probably made the pair hungry.
"In leaf-bare there are no simply answers you can't just run to the two-leg house to get food when you're hungry, starving thin. The harsh reality is, clan mates will go to StarClan whether from sickness or hunger. However that doesn't keep this clan from fighting...and pushing forward. Some days you eat, many you don't. Remember that."He mewed firmly. He gave a dismissive flick of the tail before looking at Brackenstar then back at Cherryhawk. "This does not mean you get off the hook for this remember that too." He mewed to the young warrior. The last thing he wanted was for her to think it was okay to bring outsiders in...there had been too many instances of that lately...
