Owlstar's eyes glittered softly with worry as she heard Eveningblaze's announcement. The tom himself was well guarded, which helped ease the news on that clans somewhat, but she was still rather concerned. Missing warriors and apprentices? How awful, she hoped that the distance between Ivyclan and the twolegs would stop this horror being inflicted on her own clan. Yellow eyes gleamed, and came up with two brief scenarios of why Brackenstar was gone this fine wintery night. Either he was out furiously searching for his warriors, as she would've done, or he had been taken himself. Fine work, Eveningblaze, keeping the information to yourself. Well, no matter. With their leader gone, perhaps Mothclan would lay off their borders. They were fiercely guarded, but the skirmishes became quite tiring.
Then Sabletail stepped forward, to say his own piece. Her ears perked up when she heard that Bearstar had kitted. Ah, so that's where she was. A small frown came to her face as she heard this, gaze cast down. She had left her litter with the other queens in the nursery to lead her clan to the gathering. Perhaps that's where things started to go wrong? She shook her head, raising those luminous eyes to watch the clans once more. No matter, it was a long time ago. She dipped her head at the Mistclan deputy as he stepped back, and she moved forward once more to speak, glancing towards each of the deputies in turn as she addressed them.
"Eveningblaze, thank you for the warning. May Starclan be with you and your warriors, to bring your clanmates home soon. I wish you the best of luck." Though, if he stopped being a prat, maybe she'd wish him a bit more. "Sabletail, extend my congratulations to Bearstar and her new family, may they grow up to be loyal warriors." She hummed, her voice warm and golden despite the frigid aura of the night. She looked out towards the clan cats, all who stood silent underneath her piercing gaze. Then she smiled, bright and lovely as always as she tilted her head to the side, and addressed the warriors.
"There are no further announcements I'd like to share, warriors. Mingle among yourselves until your leaders call for you to return home." The leader mused, her musical tone drifting across Moon's Maw, matching the delicate dance of snowflakes floating down from the velvet sky.
