Briarfrost nervously looked towards the approaching leader, Mothstar. Not too long ago they had fought, and he won by more then a fair amount. With a shiver, her tail touched the scars by her side, and the warrior gulped lightly.
However, the meeting seemed to start quickly after, and she listened to Owlstar speak, trying not to look towards Mothstar's general direction. The last thing she wanted was to be called out for it, or even have the tom notice her.
Shadespirit grumbled when she couldn't find the cat she was looking for, and slumped down right when the meeting started. Her face twitched and her eye flickered towards the leaders a bit boredly, her expression a bit dull.
Fallenpaw was just so happy to be able to come to the gathering, and he had spent his time trying to be friends with everyone. However, the beginning had stopped him in his tracks, and the apprentice quickly sat down to watch.
Mothstar was too engrossed in his own mind to properly listen to Owlstar. Yes, yes - new warriors, defending borders. It was all very dull and he didn't really care about it. Besides, IvyClan weren't defending their borders very well, were they? Not when MothClan warriors kept winning fights over newly claimed territory. Mothstar wasn't complaining about this, though. IvyClan's lack of competence suited him completely.
The sound of his name snapped his attention back to the here and now. Ah, finally - his turn to speak. Body exuding complete and utter cockiness, the leader stood up and took a step forwards. "MothClan has been incredibly successful over the last moon." He announced to the cats below, his confidence voice easily booming out across the entire gathering place. "We have new warriors - Fattail and Tawnystorm - as well as new apprentices - Hemlockpaw and Yewpaw. We have won many fights, have had no issues with feeding ourselves, and - as well as all this - Cedarleap has found the cure to the illness that the clans have been suffering from recently. She even saved my son, Boarkit, with it."
The leader paused dramatically to let the revelation sink in before he continued to speak. "Of course, the medicine cats of the other clans have permission to visit the MothClan camp at some point over the next moon to learn of the cure too. MothClan is not your enemy - we do not want to see either MistClan or IvyClan fall to an unstoppable disease."
IvyClan: Blackheart, Cricketjump, Kinktail, Milkeyes, Rookheart, Raccoonmask, Moorwhisker, Honeychase MistClan: Twoface, Goldenmane, Rottentooth, Stagleap MothClan: Silvertongue, Sheepfur, Littledash, Rowanfrost, Bristleblaze, Fallowflight, Palepaw, Tinykit The Tribe: Night That Passes Slowly, Fox That Screams in Wind, Owl Hidden in Mist Other: Tormund, Whiskey, Pierre
The young queen had decided that her kits were old enough to spend a night without her. Silverfur was there just in case, and it would only be a night, wouldn't it? When she heard Owlstar's call, she crept out of their nest, careful not to wake a soul. Her sleeping nest of kittens probably hadn't even noticed she had left. "Thank Starclan," She whispered, joining the group of cats.
It was a long trek to the gathering. She had enjoyed getting some exercise, and the feeling of her paws against fresh snow was rather refreshing. She had not attended a gathering in the longest time-- nearly four moons! Many events had happened since then, and her curious ears were eager to hear the entirety. Mothclan was trying to claim Ivyclan territory, which she had heard from Blackheart. He was part of a border skirmish with Mothclan cats just the other day, and she was not entirely happy about that. She had even heard while sharing tongues that Mothstar had lost a life to sickness during last moon's gathering. She was sure this gathering would be a sight to behold.
Olivenose was surprised to see that Mothclan had arrived second, while Mistclan had arrived last. Sitting beside her was her mate, Blackheart. She watched as his stern gaze fell upon Sweetbriar, a Mothclan cat. Perhaps she was the one who had attacked him at the border. Olivenose continued to send cautious glares at the she-cat as she pressed her pelt closer to Blackheart. When the gathering began, she turned her complete attention to the leaders.
BROOKSONG - -
"Our first gathering as warriors!" Brooksong enthused to Wildwing as they made their way to the gathering. Last moon's gathering was very eventful, with the Mothclan leader dying and all. She wouldn't dare miss this one to see what was to happen! Upon arrival, the she-cat began to socialize and mingle among others before settling down once the leaders announced the beginning of the gathering.
(OOC: I would write more but I hate most of my cats rip)
Ravenpaw stayed at camp with Dogear ------------------------------ Silverfur stayed with Olivenoses's kits and her own. ----------------------------- Ripplefade came, but only in hopes that she could see Burningbranch. There really was no other reason, seeing as how everybody stared and her and whispered. Her heart dropped when she couldn't pick out the pretty she-cat's cinnamon and white fur. Now she was stuck here alone. ---------------------------- Mistysting came, one to watch over Ripplefade, and two to see if she could gather any information about the other clans. Mothstar seemed kinder, ever since his episode at the last gathering. Perhaps his Clan had found the cure? That would be good for everyone. ---------------------------- Streamtail and Frosteyes came, one, because they weren't sick, and two just to hang out with each other. But what was this? A new warrior in IvyClan? Well, she sounded cool. After all, her name was Mistysting. They both padded over in syncronization, their tails up and waving. Like water. The sat next to Mistysting, meowing in greeting. "Would it be all right if we sat here?" Streamtail asked. -------------------------- Mistysting merely flicked an ear and nodded. These cat's smelled suspicious. She didn't trust them. Keeping her eyes on Ripplefade and her ears on Mothstar, she sat in silence. It was Bearstar's turn to speak.
Carried Home is a Warriors roleplay forum. We feature four clans - all four of which have futures that heavily depend on what your characters do - as well as a 50 word count minimum on RP posts, and a functioning currency and shop.
While most of the action does center around our four clans, members are also permitted to make loners, rogues, and kittypets. You can also make both StarClan and Dark Forest characters.
