He was the best tracker in Mistclan, at least, he certainly thought so. And since lots of other cats thought so as well, he considered it fact. He didn't know what it was, maybe he just noticed things more, or interpreted them in different ways, but this tom could track down a white rabbit in a snowstorm. Speaking of rabbits, that was the prey he was after now. He caught a glimpse of it before it scurried off, the first excellent piece of prey he'd seen since it started to get warmer. The queens would love a kill like this, even if his own stomach growled at the thought. 
He huffed softly, eyes directed down as his brought his nose close to the earth as he walked. Older scents were negligible, but oh he could smell this rabbit. He quickened his pace, determined to chase after it. It led him far, the damned thing was clever, going through the undergrowth. But now they were in the fields, and he tore after it without a second though. 
Archfeather, while known for being a tracker, was also known for getting a bit too focused on whatever task or thing he was hunting down. It gave him a bit of tunnel vision, which was fine when he was in a patrol, as he had his clanmates looking out for him. It was not fine, however, when he was on his own. It often caused him to miss things, like a root jutting out of the ground, or slippery pine needles... Or in this case, going right over the Mistclan Mothclan border. No, not good at all.

The sunlight on this day was partially covered by gentle, drifting clouds, some of the rays of light filtering through and illuminating the grass in a gentle yellowish tint. Alderfall was working his way through the grass, trying to keep in the pathway of the sun's light tendrils as is basked him in warmth. The young Mothclan warrior hoped soon that the days would get even warmer, but not too warm. He was lost in his own consciousness, not really having a place in mind to go. Perhaps he would hunt a little bit during this late afternoon walk, he thought to himself as the scent of rabbit filled his senses. Pricking his long, tall ears, Alderfall could tell that it was closer than he had originally thought and his warrior instincts kicked in, his paws tingling to catch it. Following the scent of this rabbit, he spotted it first racing through the grasses. Completely focused on it and nothing else, Alderfall was suddenly appreciative of his long, nimble legs as they let him fly across the field and straight onto the rabbit. The warrior snapped its neck swiftly when he suddenly realized he wasn't alone. Dropping his rabbit, he looked over his shoulder at another cat. Archfeather, a Mistclan warrior, who was now in Mothclan territory. "Um..." Alderfall stared at him, his jaw open slightly as he couldn't find anything for words and his heart raced. Was he here to hurt him? His initial thoughts were as he glanced at the rabbit. Archfeather was also undoubtedly handsome, Alderfall mused to himself, somewhat ashamedly.

He glanced up suddenly when a scent hit his nose like a rock wall. A Mothclan cat. It took him a moment, but he soon recognized it to be Alderfall. Archfeather frowned briefly, curious and confused on why there'd be a Mothclan cat here. That is, he was until he noticed the rabbit he'd been tracking down. A growl rumbled in his chest as he eyed the speckled piece of prey, and his gaze flickered up to meet the other warriors.

"Hey! That was my catch," he huffed, lashing his tail in his annoyance, gorgeous chocolate pelt standing out against the scenery. Oh Starclan, he adored his fur. Glossy and stunning, he kept it in top condition. It was a bit ruffled now, after the chase he gave for that rabbit.
"What are you even doing..." Archfeather began, but he slowly trailed off as he glanced around. This... was unfamiliar. He whipped around, gazing over his shoulder, eyes widening when he finally realized his situation.
"Oh, Starclan, I must've been distracted." Distracted enough to wander into enemy clan territory, especially the clan that took intense violent pride in protecting their borders.
What was he to do now?

Alderfall

Glancing between the long-furred Mistclan cat and the rabbit that lay at his feet, Alderfall's ears grew hot as the tom's words echoed in his ears. "Hey that was my catch!" Obviously it wasn't, Alderfall not only killed it, but killed it on his own territory where as Archfeather stood there, blankly staring at him, outside of his own territory. But Alderfall didn't work that way, he didn't snap and get angry or upset with others. He worked on emotions, and Alderfall felt bad. Archfeather should've been the one to catch the rabbit, but instead Alderfall did by accident. Nudging the rabbit towards Archfeather, he looked at the tom, eyes darting around shyly. "You can have it" Alderfall informed him calmly. "You were going to catch it until I bumped into it randomly." The chocolate tom suggested a friendly smile despite it being looked down upon to be nice to non Mothclan cats outside of the gatherings.

The chocolate tabby quickly and almost aggressively shook his head. What was with this warrior? A Mothclan cat offering him a rabbit they'd killed on their own territory? Archfeather was so scatterbrained, he was almost astonished by the fact that this cat wasn't clawing his ears off. By Starclan, he'd claw his own ears off for being such a mousebrain!

"N-No way! It's your right!" He exclaimed, eyes widened slightly in his shock. "While you're at it, chase me away! It's the right thing to do!" Archfeather insisted, shifting his paws slightly in preparation to bolt should the tom take him up on his words. "I'm being crazy! No, you're being crazy! Why in Starclan would you offer me the rabbit you caught after I ran into your territory after it! That's insane. Are you really a Mothclan cat? You can't be, I should have my throat clawed out by now." He didn't even notice he was rambling. Archfeather did that sometimes, went off on a tangent and wouldn't shut up until somebody told him too. It didn't happen often, usually only when he was nervous or embarrassed. Now he was both, embarrassed by his lack of attention and nervous in an enemy clan's territory.

"I should go. Why haven't I already gone? Stupid, stupid! I'm the crazy one, aren't I? Starclan. I'll be going, right on my way, mhmm." He spoke quickly, already backing up a few pawsteps.
