Pricklepaw

As the sun began to rest from it's sitting place high above the sky, Pricklepaw could feel his paws twitching with antsy energy, building up inside his black fur like static electricity, ready to explode any moment with friction. He crouch beside the apprentice's den, scoping out his best friend, Daisypaw. Where was he? Pricklepaw muttered incoherently to himself as he waited, kneading the ground.

Although they weren't allowed out of camp alone, and it was nearing a darker time of the afternoon, the two mischievous apprentices often sneak out of camp together on little fiasco's of their own, causing trouble to the sleeping critters in the night time forest. So far to their luck, neither of them had been caught, but many times they almost had, but it kept the thrill of it exciting. Sneaking away, trying to not be caught.

Sighing softly, he gave a small smile and nod to a warrior that passed him as he continued to anxiously search for his white pelted friend. He was slower than a herd of elders! Hopefully he had not forgotten their meeting and plans for tonight...

DAISYPAW - -

Daisypaw was more than excited for tonight. He and his best friend, Pricklepaw, had planned to sneak out of camp tonight! This happened often, but each time he felt more and more giddy to spend quality time with his friend. "A friend..." He thought, smiling softly. He was hoping to be more than friends... but being friends would suffice. If he were to confess his feelings, and Pricklepaw didn't feel the same, then he would be risking everything.

The snow white tom crept around a corner and spotted his dear friend at the exit to the camp. He slowly but surely crept up to the tom, a mischievous grin on his muzzle. He stopped right behind Pricklepaw, batted at his rump, and attempted to scare him.

"Uhh... boo!" It was a pathetic excuse for a scare, but it was an attempt.
