Mosskit has been swallowed by the moss again. His green gaze quickly flits over the now familiar place he calls the moss’ belly as the strong scent of pine needles washes over him. He casts his gaze around, looking for the kindly Tanglefur or the beautiful Tansysong, but he sees neither of them. In fact… he seems to be completely and utterly alone here.
Mosskit recalls that Tanglefur told him to be quiet here, but he can’t quite remember why… and the thought of being alone here is much worse than anything else Mosskit can imagine! Besides, the last time he cried out while he was here, it brought him Tansysong! And Tanglefur, but Mosskit was most excited to meet Tansysong. So the little kit sits back, tilts his muzzle skyward, and starts to cry.
