The dilute she-cat padded into camp, a plump mouse clamped firmly in her jaws. It was her first catch, and she was quite impressed with herself to be fair. Silvertongue had showed her the territory where she learned about MistClan and IvyClan, what they scented like, both scented odd to her. She had secretly hoped that she would have seen a patrol so she could size up her opponents but by the scents of things they had just missed them as their markers were fresh but no cat could be seen. That took most of the day, and by a few hours after sunhigh they were back in the fields where Silvertongue went over hunting crouches. Stormpaw was fairly certain that she had impressed him snagging a mouse on her first try. Sure it was a bit messy but no one was perfect on their first day, what she was most excited for was battle training.
She dropped her prey in the pile before making her way to the clearing before laying herself in the center sun hitting her dilute colored pelt. She closed her eyes briefly thinking about being in fights, claws shredding her enemies as she protected her clan mates. that was the type of training she longed for, the type of training that made her entire body ache. She opened one eye, then another as other apprentices padded back into the clearing others were heading out just starting. She supposed it was smart keeping them all separate their first day. Stormpaw had familiarized herself with part of the territory already so her tour was cut short, she wouldn't admit it for fear of getting into trouble now, but she had her sister had snuck off when they were kits, it was a memory that brought a slight smile to her face.
Her sister...where was she anyways? She was a bit disappointed they didn't get to tour together, but perhaps that was for the best, she would admit she was quite chatty with her sister which turned into gossip, which turned into coming up with fun nicknames for Aspenkit....well Aspenpaw and his siblings. She twitched her whiskers with amusement coming up with other clever insults to the tom. When she was a kit she honestly had all the time in the world, but she was an apprentice now so her attention had shifted. Perhaps she could brag about her catch, or even fib a bit about her training, anything that made it sound like she had a hard day would be good.
she stood up now, eyes focusing on the tunnel. "let all kits old enough to eat prey gather here for a clan meeting" She recalled her words, StarClan had picked her afterall, they made the clearing empty that day for her sister and she to escape the camp. What were the changes that would happen? She knew it would be foolish to call out such words again sure being a kit was all fun and you could pretend to be a leader but now was for real, she was training to be a warrior who would be a leader one day!
She heard familiar paw steps and cracked a slight smirk ah yes JUST who she was looking for! "Hey you! Finally learned the territory today eh?" She mewed with a slight snarky tone.
