The sun had set, most of the cats had retreated back to their dens for the evening. Tomorrow was another day. It had been reported that Doe, one of the prey hunters, newly named at that, had fallen into the swift waters. The cats had followed the water for a little bit before calling it quits, and honestly the brown she-cat understood. Her blue eyes carried her to the small sleeping frame of a thin tom, whom was called First Speaker, next to him lay his apprentice Stream. Her eyes softened ever so slightly before her tail touched his shoulder waking the tom up. She had finally managed to find her way home.
"Firstspeaker....I tried to come to you sooner but I had gotten lost..." It wasn't often that starry cats came to visit Firstspeaker. Firstspeaker normally relied on nature to tell him of the perils to come but instead it was the young prey hunter who stood before him. Her hollow spirit tilted it's hard before padding out into the clearing beckoning the tom to follow her with a flick of her tail. Her angular face pointed to the sky, a star shone extra bright tonight, that was hers. She smiled softly before turning her head to face the tom once more.
"I fell into the river and its rapids carried me very far away....farther than any one of have ever gone." She mewed softly. Her eyes reflected sadness, had she just been more careful she and Talon would have been able to start a family. She lifted her head up, now was no time for remorse, there was more serious business to take care of. "I wanted to visit you, to let you know I was okay...in the tribe of Endless hunting but...I ended up...somewhere else...." She recalled speaking to Silverfang, it was a name so odd sounding to her...
"It was another tribe! We aren't the only ones!" She mewed. Something about her tone was filled with excitement, the other half worry. What would the other tribe do to them? Were they in danger... "I have finally made it back home to where I belong...but...I should let you know...they are coming.... Mist shrouds over Ivy that hides the Moth." She mewed softly.
