She was known for coming by, a scent of wild flowers and pine trees following behind here. The mostly brown cat was usually seen hangingaround many types of cats. It didn't matter who you were, A Clan Cat, a loner, a rogue, a kitty pet, an elder, a kit..She was there to help those in need. This molly was known simply known as Daisy, Brownstripe, or Magnoliapine..She had many names. The quiet girl wandered from place to place in the park, pausing to meow at Two-Legs for food and maybe even join in a quick hunt of the small rodents that ran around, or heck go dumpster diving for an old soggy piece of pizza. She didn't seem to care who she came across, as long s she could help them, that was all that mattered. She wondered whom she'd come across next, because every cat was different in their own way.

A kind scent wafted up from beneath the great tree a lanky tom was laid out sleepily in. It danced craftily around him in his dream, overtaking the metallic stink that had clung to his white pelt. While subtle he did have the distinct smell of blood that held to him. The realization that the scent was from reality and not just a blob of color drifting in his mind broke the felines nap. Long foreleg and tail hanging from the low branch of a tree in the park, Raptors mixed gaze peered open. Spotting the she-cat origin he watched for a bit, amused as he let out a yawn. Curling his pink tongue as he let out the air. Stretching his paws forward he rolled lazily off the branch, landing on silent paws. Feathery tail swishing behind him as he observed for a few more moments.

She had wandered past his tree, either not spotting him hanging there or ignoring him respectful of his sleep. Either way, her scent had caught his attention and now he was intrigued. The rouge didn’t take particularly careful steps but he moved closer behind the brown feline in silence. He himself wondered who she was: clanner, loner, rouge, kittypet? Clearly no kit or elder, but that didn’t matter to him. What he cared to know was if she was a nuisance and if he’d be justified in toying with her. He wondered if her blood smelled as good as her fur, maybe he should ask her or maybe he’d get to find out? His head cocked to one side as he padded up next to her, blinking at her pretty pelt. “Why hello” he coed as he leaned into her ear. A goofy but friendly half smiled pulled across his maw.

Magnolia didn't seem to notice Raptor at first, her mind set on finding food to fill a slight aching belly. The molly paused to take a rest by a tree, putting her nose to the ground to scent out prey. She didn't seem to find any sign of the prey she was looking for, yet a sickly, blood scent filled her nose. It made he silently shiver.



"Why hello."



The greeting seemed to spook her, causing her to jump up high above the other feline, a white tom. She gave a faint hiss has she landed, flipping herself around to figure out the voice that was in her ear a moment ago. A blink came from her eyes, before softly replying to his greeting, her appreance casual and calm, like nothing had happened. The smaller she-cat watched the tom with green eyes, her nosetrils doing a quick flare up at the odd sudden of blood..seemed to be coming from him. She took one small step back, keeping her eyes open for any sign of ambush or form of attack.

"Hello.." She answered, her tone much like that of a soft flutter of a moth's wing.

Raptor seemed relaxed, but his muscles were stone stiff as she leapt and hissed. The tom had expected that reaction, but her next move was important to him. If she attacked him, oh he would have his fun, long tail lashing behind him once ready for a fight. The feline had immediately returned to a calm demeanor though. Transparent whiskers twitching he watched her catch his scent and retreat a little. Hmpf, no fun, he thought as he circled in front of the path she was originally walking. “You look like you’re trying to find something.” He prodded as his head lolled over to the other side. The white tom opened his jowls to release yet another yawn before shaking to ruffle up his messy fur.

“The name’s Raptor,” he backtracked, “What’s wrong? Do I stink or somethin’?” The skinny feline lifted a paw and sucked in an obnoxious breath with his nose to mimic her. He grinned and took a long stride closer to her, “Don’t worry, you stink too.” Not really a bad stink, a good stink, but he’d never tell her she smelled good. He wondered how she’d react to him closing in on her again, he sputtered out another friendly comment so he could continue to invade her personal space, “Like you live in a twolegs garden.” She was quiet after all, how was he ever supposed to hear her if he didn’t get closer?

The brown she-cat gave a light shrug. She was a little off put with his sent and pretended to look around, his eyes making her slightly dizzy. Yellow and blue, blue to yellow..Whoaaaa...The brown she cat shook her head, easing the dizziness for a bit. "I am..looking for..prey.." She stuttered from her quietness, trying her best to speak up but to no success. Her voice was just to soft to be any louder.
She leaned back a bit, not because he was in her comfort zone. It was just that, it was hard to have someone's head in your face when you're trying to talk to them. She didn't blame him after all. Her voice was just so, so soft....She hated it sometimes. "I do not live with twolegs or their garden...I uhm..Travel from place to place for shelter..Living the nomadic life.."

A snicker hissed from his throat at her shrug, so she did think he stunk, oh well. The lanky tom found it humorous that she then avoided his gaze. He thought she was being timid, not that the icy cold of one orb conflicted with the brilliant sun of the other.  Her quiet stammer only helped this theory along, but after a pause the meaning of her words finally caught up with his aloof mind. Prey? He was hungry enough to shred some chow himself.  "Whatcha' plannin' on finding here?" He guessed they probably could find a squirrel or bird hanging out in the park trying to get a twoleg to share their snack. Raptor finally straightened his head now that his interest was growing. She seemed too nice, there was no way he'd release his awakening energy on her, but he'd be down for a hunt.

He got what he wanted when she backed away from him once again. He was winning his little game of 'how many times can I make you uncomfortable?' even if she wasn't playing along the right way. Raptor listened more intently to her hushed voice now, so she's not a kittypet, not that it matters, he thought as she spoke. "Ah," he chirped, "I typically spend the night in the same spot buuuuuuuttt I like to wander around too." From the clan borders to the twoleg nests, he'd seen a lot of it and he dared to explore a little farther each time. He wondered how much farther out this she-cat had seen if she traveled as she pleased with no place to return to.

Since she didn't seem to have much to say, he'd fill the silence for the two of them. Did that mean she got a point against him in his own game since he felt the need to avoid an awkward pause?  If she had already figured out his imaginary game and created this ploy to win she must be extremely clever, he grew suspicious but he'd let it slide for now.  The tom turned and strode forward, leaving a space for her to walk beside him. His feathery tail flicked in a motion that half-invited-half-demanded her to fill that position.  "So, misses mystery nomad," he teased as he chattered over his shoulder to her, "Tell me all the wonderful places you've been so I can visit them too."

She gave a grown has her belly rumbled, her eyes darting around for prey. Gosh she was quite hungry this evening. An embarassed blush crossed her, quickly hiding the the hint of weakness. "Whatever Starclan decides to bring me this lovely summer day..I am not too picky.." Oh yah, a believer of the clan in the Stars. The loner drooped her head, causally scenting around for prey, noting his sentences with distant interest. She didn't seem interested in his game, or even how to play, nor did she make note of the game either..It was like..She was oblivious to whole idea of his little teasing game, like she had not heard of it.
She padded ahead of him, legitally stepping aside of him as she moved her earth colored body, almost like an earthquake coming after a tremor. Her tail held itself up, casually going into the comical question mark pose cats do. "It must be boring staying in one spot..For it is nice to find new faces, scents, and other objects that come along the paths.." She shrugged at his feathery tail, lightly whacking away a pebble from her path, drifting off to be in the space of her mind. It was a question.., Where had she been. were had she gone? It seemed like she was walking in circles, deciding if becoming a clan cat again or a kittypet would best suit her wants and needs. She gave a faint sigh, deciding not to answer his question on her past whereabouts..For now.
Her grassy green eyes scanned the Twoleg nests and the forest around the two felines, watching for any prey that might be about.

The tom hid his amusement at her hunger as she tried to play it off.  He glanced back at her comment, curiosity growing.  StarClan? It didn't bother him but it implied she'd been around the clanners enough to learn about it.  "So, not a kittypet… but maybe an ex-clanner?" he probed, "That means your name must be like... Creamfoot or... Littlestripe, come on come on, tell me if I'm getting close." His whiskers twitched as she went on, ignoring his game.  Raptor smirked as the she-cat strode past him, rolling his strange eyes playfully.  If she wanted to lead the way he'd let her, she could do the work of finding something to snack on and he'd do the fun part of killing it.  

"Boring? Hmm, I dunno I kinda like knowing for certain I have a place to rest when I'm weary of wandering," the tom was attempting to mimic her more formal speech pattern, but his own lazy wording snuck into the sentence as well.  He followed the stone she'd kicked out of her way and promptly pawed it back so it landed ahead of her path again.  His tail swung delightedly at his accuracy, the pebble in front of her paws again.  His head tilted inquisitively at her sigh, a theatrical pout crossing his face.  So she wouldn't share her adventures, she just wanted to find some grub and be done?  That was hardly any fun for him.  The tom turned his attention away from her as he padded along, searching for food with the hope it would make her more talkative.  He followed her for a while before a smidge of movement among the brush to his side snagged the focus of his eye. The feline paused abruptly and tapped his mystery hunting partners hindleg with the back of his paw.  Something small must have spotted them and started to make it's way in the opposite direction, but it mistakenly had disturbed it's hiding place.  He motioned to the bush for her with a smug grin.

"One can say that..." Shanswered the kittypet/ex-clanner question, kicking back the pebble back. "And my name is..Magnoliapine..." She uttered the name, almost like she was about to say something else. Her former name, Daisy, just seemed to cliche to even mention. She watched the pebble for a moment before

"They weren't-" She was cut off from answering when he gave a smug look, looking in the direction he had his paw pointing in. Her nose went to the ground; vole. She gave a soft purr before crouching down, as it was one of her favorites. She watched the little creature disturb leaf after leaf, finding it amusing to watch her prey wander around a bit before he decided to give chase. The she cat crept forward, her tail twitching as she tried to conentrate on her future meal..Hopefully her inexcepted guest didn't decide to take it from her anyway.

Ohhh, now this is starting to get fun, "Hmm," he purred in a nonchalant manner, hiding his interest.  Raptor wanted to know the juicy part, which clan, how she got kicked out, did she hold a grudge or did she just leave on her own since she liked to wander, maybe the clan held a grudge against her for abandoning them? There were so many possibilities, but she didn't seem to want to share.  Oh well, he was growing tired of interviewing her anyway.  He raised a kitty eyebrow as she didn't fuss over him kicking the pebble in her way again, simply moving it once more.  He left it be this time.  The cat inferred her hesitation as mistrust in telling him her name, maybe she was lying even.  "That's actually kinda pretty I guess."  He shrugged as she turned her focused on the prey he found. 

The white tom stood placidly still as she held her hunting crouch, geeze she was taking forever.  She didn't expect him to catch her meal for her, did she?  Honestly he was hungry too, if he helped he'd probably want to eat most of the kill.  If she wanted it, he'd leave it to her to catch and eat.  "You're supposed to play with your food after you catch it Mags, otherwise it'll get away and that'd be a waste." The tom coed a soft warning as he rolled back to sit on his haunches.  Looking away he lifted a forepaw to his mouth and chewed at the set of sharp claws he unsheathed.  Raptors gaze only flicked back to her in order to watch her pounce in case the prey were to escape her initial effort.
