Mothkit is a large cat, taking after his father's side of the bloodline in this regard to stand at about thirteen inches tall. His big body is further thickened by a dense, unruly coat of long fur that might have been soft had he ever taken care of it well, but as it is has a coarse, wispy feel and is rather dry. His fur forms a thick "mustache" on his muzzle, and cushions of fur behind his small ears. His muzzle is somewhat short and abrupt, and he looks like he always has his face scrunched up in disgust at something. His eyes are round with an angled brow of fur above them that makes them look somewhat angry, like certain types of owls.

Mothkit's pelt has an oak bark brown tone, with brownish-grey ghost tabby marks on his forehead. His front legs up the shoulder as well as his chest, belly, back feet, and the left half of his upper muzzle are white, with an offshoot from the right side of his chest reaching up to his cheek. His eyes are pale orange.

In spite of his shining examples to aspire to aesthetically- Bearstar being a sleek, otterlike cat and Goldenmane having a luxurious yellow pelt- Mothkit is sort of a scrappy looking cat with poor personal hygiene habitually. He does the bare minimum to not smell bad, so his fur tends to have weird kinks and curls in it from where it's gotten wet or tangled in things that day. Periodically he will probably have to get help from someone to actually clean it thoroughly(only to continue the cycle yet again...).

An impetuous sort of cat, Mothkit tends to act on a whim without considering others or their strategies, trusting his gut alone in the moment. He can be fairly rude, and isn't shy about talking back or challenging someone who outranks him.

In part because of his heritage, he is a bit arrogant, and by default thinks he will do better than others regardless of previous experience. Not that he's totally blind to the skills of others- if he's proven wrong, he would consider those better than him valuable allies in times of hardship. Of course, being the leader's son, he's still prone to elitism and haughtiness.

Unfortunately he's also kind of a bag of rocks sometimes. He's not a moron, and in battle his wits are stone-solid, but he doesn't enjoy humor, subtlety, or mind games at all, and in fact probably wouldn't even notice if anyone tried any of those things around him.

He does have a rebellious streak, and due to his privileged position it mostly manifests as acting like a stereotypical emo-phase teen, pouting and brooding while he mutters about the faults of this or that. With some real direction for his idle agitations, he might be a powerfully political cat, but as it is he's mostly just a rude boy.

Born to the MistClan leader Bearstar and her mate Goldenmane, alongside two brothers, Roundkit and Fishkit, and two sisters, Softkit and Hootkit.

Other notes; Named in honor of the recently passed Mothstar of MothClan, coincidentally has a similar personality to the old guy; i think the FC is technically some weird tabby but aside from the ghost marks Mothkit is solid color.
