Cypresspaw Female 8 moons Heterosexual Mothclan Apprentice "Do you always have to yell and make a mess of things?" L- B-- Mc-- D- Wsw? Appearance Cypresspaw is a small cat with a round shaped body. Her pelt is a light, dusty brown with darker, thin tabby stripes running down her body, stretching from her head to her tail. She has a patch of ivory fur on her chin that fades on her chest but returns on her belly. The tip of her tail is dark, almost black. The insides of her legs are reddish-brown and so is her nose. She has thin ears, which are otherwise normal. Her nose is a tan-pink color and soft to the touch. Cypresspaw's paws are very dark, almost black and she has dark spots on her cheeks almost reminiscent of freckles. She is short-haired but her whiskers are very long. They are a defining feature of herself as a whole. Cypresspaw has a very small mouth and her lips are always pursed together tightly. Her pelt is smooth and glossy. Cypresspaw's eyes are a pretty yellow-green color. Personality Cypresspaw is a quiet, yet somewhat prissy cat. She's not afraid to get her paws dirty, but sometimes she grows impatient with other cats. She views many of them as incompetent slobs, and the ones she has a better opinion of, she just 'tolerates'. She can be judgemental and often is, especially if the first impressions aren't that great. She's proud and holds herself to a high standard. Even if what she does is 'good enough' for her mentor, it will not be good enough for her. Cypresspaw wants to be 'fantastic' or 'amazing', not just 'good enough'. That can lead to her becoming an overacheiver and a perfectionist. She's internally competitive- not coming up and challenging other cats, but rather purposefully training near them to 'one-up' the cat. If there's no competition, she simply tries to make what she does as over the top as possible. However, she cares a lot about her clan, and she would never want anything bad to come of any Mothclan cat. Cypresspaw is fiercely loyal and deeply dedicated to her clan. She lives for Mothclan lore, Mothclan history, and dreams to know everything of what Mothclan is as a whole. She would give her life, give up her dreams in a heartbeat for the sake of her clan. She yearns for the return of her brothers, and wishes to see their faces. Sometimes she wonders if they're in StarClan or not, because they were rogue-born and never knew about Starclan. History Cypresspaw has a strange history. She came from a declawed kittypet who was cast out of her home for becoming pregnant- presumably because her owner's didn't want to deal with the extra kittens anyway. They did not care for Cypresspaw's mother at all and was more than happy to have her gone. Her mother, however, was not happy. As a declawed cat, hunting was very difficult... But for a kittypet with no prior training, it was impossible. Her mother lived a torturous life, scavenging in the trash for horrid tasting, overly salty leftovers that the twolegs threw away, because she could not feed herself. When her mother gave birth- to Cypresspaw and her two brothers, she realized that she could not keep living like this. So, the family moved into the clan territory. Still, things got even harder. Now, her mother had to sit in the trees with her kits and steal buried prey from clan cats who had caught them to pick up later. This wasn't enough to satisfy their stomachs, as attempts to steal that prey either ended with a tiny morsel, or, more often ended in a scuffle, with the mother being chased off and the kits having to hide in the tree until their mother returned. One day, said mother leapt down to dig up prey as she did quite often. This time, she was chased by a Mothclan patrol and off the territory. She ran over the rails of a the train track and was truck by a passing train. The kits didn't witness a thing, but wondered where mama went. A week passed, and all but one was left alive. The first kit died of starvation and dehydration soon after the passing of his mother, being too scared to take the leap from the tree they were stranded on, after witnessing his brother die doing so. The second kit, who was first to take action, did take the leap, but hit his head on a lower branch and died on the ground. Cypresspaw was the only surviving kit. When she landed on the ground, she was starving and dehydrated, desperately meowing for somebody, anybody, to pick her up and feed her. A passing Mothclan patrol found er and brought her in. Now, Cypresspaw ives a relatively normal life as a cat of mothclan. Cypresspaw does not remember her life outside of the clan- she does not remember anything except her mother's face and the death of her brothers. Other Cypresspaw is possibly applying for medicine cat apprentice, other than that, we'll see what the future holds.
