Her pelt is short, but thick and soft, primarily a snowy white she tends to groom very well. This white is marked with patches of mottled black and red, the red markings showing tabby tripes that are bolder around her flank and tail, whilst very faint upon her head. Her eyes are a light green that can seemingly switch from cold and snakelike to warm and friendly in seconds. Personality Rosethorn isn’t exactly a friendly cat, though few would ever think to say that about her. Like her name seems to imply, she generally comes off as sweet and caring, sometimes a little firm, but always well meaning and considerate of others. This is a lie, for this rose has thorns. Roseheart is in truth just a brilliant after, a cunning she-cat with a mind of strategy and patience that drives her toward her ambitions. She is more like a snake waiting out her prey than a sweet and delicate rose, but no one needs to know that. She has goals and ambitions, and to achieve them she needs to be manipulative, but smart. So she is a charmer, one that wraps everyone around her paw and isn’t against downplaying her abilities or even making a fool of herself in order to get what she wants. Despite her harsher, self-serving persona, Roseheart greatly values loyalty. Anyone that seems unlikely to betray her, that serves her well, will be rewarded and treated well. She understands that respect must go both ways, and she is not above it even if she may act as such when she reveals her truer self. History Roseheart was born and raised in Mistclan, starting her life as little Rosekit with every aim to move up in the world. Her mother named her specifically for the fact that roses have thorns, they aren’t as harmless as they look. She wanted her daughter to be just like her, and Rosekit was eager to prove herself, gradually taking on her mother’s habits and ambitions as she grew. As an apprentice Rosepaw learnt to charm and lie her way through life. She could get herself out of duties, onto hunting patrols, into extra training...all while still being a hard working apprentice that did well in her training. The art of manipulation was a hard one to learn, but she seemed to be a natural at it. Not only that, but she enjoyed it. Her mentor was not at first a friend of her mother’s, but she soon enough kept the tom close by, putting into his head what to teach her daughter, how to draw her back to her mother’s waiting paws should she ever begin to doubt her. All the clan saw was a hard working apprentice, a bright and beautiful soul that cared for her clanmates. By the time she earned her warrior name, he life was built on a lie. The irony of being named for her falsities was not lost on her at all. Still, she lived up to her name no matter what boiled beneath the surface, building it up to something beloved within the clan, but she still wanted more. She had an apprentice, a sweet little thing she twisted around like a puppet, and a second apprentice, strong, brave and loyal.
