Twitchkit's round body was sunk down to the ground, half hidden in one of the camp bushes near the nursey.  His long thin tail stuck straight up like a little flag to mark his location.  With a rustle the kit disappeared deeper into the leaves, only to burst forward from the cover.  His short spiked to make him look bigger as he angled his body to the side.  He probably looked terrifying to the poor leaves he was beating up and munching on, but to the warriors in the clearing... maybe a little crazy as his play didn't seem to have any rhyme or reason.  He took a few more swings at the battered branches, slashing his tail and huffing heavily before he tumbled into the bush and stayed down.  

Blue gaze wandering from his current play-thing, he grinned as his next target was spotted.  Flickerkit didn't stand a chance after all that practice!  The chocolate mink awkwardly shifted to his paws, staying low at the edge of the shade.  Sucking in a breath he exploded from the starting line, bounding at his unsuspecting brother.  The other kit had plenty of time to react to the bouncy attack, but wouldn't need to.  Twitchkit made his move a warriors tail length away, but it was to far for the little feline.  He landing short and collapsed into a ball, his legs swinging over and bumping into the other tom. It took a moment to reorient himself, but a squeaky giggle escaped Twitchkits lungs, "Gotcha!"

Flickerkit had been in a daze watching the dark clouds roll on by, he blinked slowly wondering if it was always so dark like this. He seemed to be in a trance when his other brother Twitchkit leaped onto his back end grabbed his tail. ”HAHAHAHA you are so funny!” His laugh echoing across the clearing and getting a few snickers from some of the other warriors he rolled onto his paws, crouched low to the ground before giving him a playful ‘boop’ to the nose. He tilted his head to the side looking at his brothers ‘gray’ fur before letting his tail tip twitch ever so slightly. ”Hey did you know Owlstar plays with me sometimes!” He beamed ever so slightly before chasing after his brother. ”She likes to play with the kits maybe she will play tag today!” He looked around scanning the clearing, he wriggled his nose slightly everyone looked the same…gray black white….if he had a bad nose he would be in a lot of trouble it would be hard to tell them all apart!

”man I wish it wasn’t so dark all the time….the sky is always so gray….” His whiskers twitched slightly as a light breeze tickled his fur carrying warmth with it. ”Mom and dad say in New leaf there are always pretty colored butterflies! Maybe we can find some at the rocks to chase!” He mewed excitedly.

Rolling back to his belly and drawing his paws beneath him, the kit scrunched his face up as his brother pawed at his nose.  His messy whiskers twitched funny as he readjusted his face after.  "Oh- She's the best!  She tells me all her secrets so I can be an awesome warrior too!"  The tom mewed proudly, shifting his weight back and forth on his paws, his rump up in the air playfully.  "If you find her do ya' promise to let me play too?" Twitchkit pressed his paw down on the tip of his brothers tail, grinning mischievously as if he wouldn't let it free if he didn't agree to his request.  

He paused a bit puzzled as Flickerkit looked around though, his grip loosening to free his tail tip.  His white chin drifting up with the comment.  His big ear flicked curiously, what is he talking about? It's soooo bright out today.  The kits eyes squinting as they took in the New-Leaf sun.  Before his blue gaze returned to Flickerkit the conversation had already moved on and the thought was dropped.  His tail lifted and he bounced on his paws, "I'll race you there!" he puffed, shaking free some dirt from his pelt, "Betcha I can catch one first too!" A smile edging his face as he awaited his brothers signal to go.

Kicking at an itch behind his ears, Hopkit was suddenly distracted by his siblings voices- oh, sure, he heard them talking before, too, but he didn't really hear them until they mentioned the friendly IvyClan ghost Owlstar. The adults could never seem to see her, but he and his siblings and even the other kids could see and hear her just fine- at least, he was pretty sure. Flickerkit was always getting colors wrong, but Hopkit just figured he must really like grey. Tumbling out of the den, he skittered around the corner of the nursery, his unsteady paws catching on the loose leaves and sending him sliding almost into his brothers' sides. "Are we on a ghost hunt?" he chirped, his tail waving in an s-shape, head tilted with the sky-blue eye towards the ground and the sunny yellow to the sky. "Ooh, can I join, can I?" Hopkit wriggled with excitement, brimming with energy.

Flickerkit was about to chase after his brother, there was no way that Twitchkit would be able to beat him in a race to catch the butterflies! He wriggled his tail and was about to take off when a familiar voice of Hopkit hit his ears about ghost hunting. That would be fun too maybe Owlstar could make butterflies appear for all of them! Then they would each have their own butterfly to chase and that would just be fun too! He let out one of his loud yowls of laughter that echoed the camp that seemed to make some of the other warriors chuckle before turning to face the black tom with a grin on his face. ”Of course We were actually going to go catch butterflies but I bet Owlstar can make one appear for all of us! Let me introduce you to her she’s just the best!”

Flickerkit crouched down as if he were being sneaky, crawling across the camp looking under rocks, flipping over leaves. Owlstar had to be somewhere right? ”AHA I FOUND YOU! I KNOW YOU ARE UNDER THAT TWIG!” Flickerkit pranced with his head held high lifting up a large twig but to his dismay, his best friend Owlstar wasn’t under it. ”She’s not here…maybe…she can’t play today…” His voice seemed to trail off rather disappointed maybe she was in the nursery visiting his mom and dady!Flickerkit was determined to find her, she was his best friend after all, and Skipkits, and twitchkits and hopkits and probably ALL The kits ohh how exciting was that!

The tom stumbled as Hopkit joined them, mistaking his voice for the signal to go in Flickerkit and his race.  He tried to catch himself but had faltered to far, landing on his chest and quickly scattering back to his paws.  He giggled through the dust he disturbed, "Ya, 'course you can!" Twitchkit squeaked to Hopkit trying to recover.  

He pushed off his front toes, leaning his weight back on his haunches to stand tall on his hind legs.  The kit tucked his forepaws against his body to help him balance as he scanned for the familiar starry pelt they were looking for.  Standing as long as he could he dropped back down, only to bound back up to the hind-leg stance again immediately, turning to scan the other side of the clearing. "Owleyessss," Twitchkit called, preferring to use her warrior name as she had introduced herself to him with.  

As he landed this time he turned to Flickerkit, his long tail waving.  "I bet she's napping in one of her favorite secret spots," He had no clue how a cat could spend so much time sleeping, she was even more tired than Dad after coming home from long patrols!

Just as Twitchkit turned around to address his sibling, soft pawsteps sounded and walked up behind him, a gentle laugh sounding so suddenly out of nowhere. Yellow eyes flickered in bright amusement, adding to the warrior's overall exuberance as she looked down upon the little kits she's already met and played with quite a few times. She bowed her head slightly as they noticed her, a leftover formal greeting she was so used to doing.

"Hello, my little friends," Her purr glowed with warmth, just as it did in life. Overall, the only differences between Owlstar and Owleyes was her youthful appearance and the gentle relaxation that lingered in her every movement. "I heard someone calling me, was it one of you?" She knew very well who it was, but the little kits always rather enjoyed answering questions. Curious little things got so excited when they knew the answers. She glanced around at the lot of them, suddenly perking up once she realized just the level of energetic they were today.

"Oh, are we playing games? Enlighten me!"
